Great to have a recap. Hey, will you talk about just how you feel the HTML5 focus will impact apps for OS7 and Playbook?
Do you think BlackBerry's TAT tools will help developers create TAT like apps?

I agree Kevin HAS to be disappointed! BDC (Before DevCon) he was worried that the new BBX phones would only be under glass. Totally different thing to not even get a hint of such a device.

Kevin, were you holding a bottle of beer there? looks like fun. ha-ha. By the way, after watching the DevCon I got so pumped up that I download and install Ripple, WebWorks SDK, Java SDK, and simulator for the 99xx phone. I'm going to start writing some apps for OS7 phone.

Guys - keep up with the comments on what you want us to talk about. HTML5, BBX, Webworks, Java death, Cascades ... these are all great topics that we definitely have views on.

Yeah, the picture above was taken at the Tweetup on Wednesday night. Open bar, good food, great conversation. I believe Kevin was enjoying and Anchor Steam. Awesome beer.

Chris -

Here are some things that "matter":

1. Why are the new BlackBerrys not at ATT - Pathetic
2. Why did the geniuses not know about BBx already trademarked - Pathetic
3. No hint, picture, whiff of a QNX based phone - Pathetic

Seems like a pretty good start to me.......

What to talk about - not devcon related, but outage related discussion obviously would be good. Love the pic!

you know what i was dissappointed not seeing a bbx phone but when you look at the UI changes in playbook 2.0 beta you can see there vision for the phones and since they will be one unifying OS soon it makes sense and from a development stand point the work they are putting in. the OS looks great and i think the apps will be pouring in soon. IM EXCITED!

Yes once RIM get the OS out of Beta, once they release a QNX/BBX Phone, they seem to have the apps covered by allowing Android Apps and they seem to be working on content with music and movies.

So in another year or so the BB platform with be GREAT!

At this point......I just want to hear about anything positive that Rim is doing. Specifically with the Playbook! By the way.....awesome pic guys. reminds me of flava flav when he wore the big clock around his neck. lol.......I do mean that in a very positive way. You guys may start a trend, lol

I'm diggin' the Flava-Flav style of PlayBook sportage. Also, Adam appears to be suspending his PlayBook using the lanyard I made for him. ;)
