Tumblr For BlackBerry Updated To Version 1.0.1

Interesting, not sure how I missed this one but I'm sure I'm not the only one. Seems shortly after the intial release Tumblr rolled out an updated version of their mobile blogging application for BlackBerry. After collecting some feedback, they implemented the following changes:

New:

  • Post menu looks cooler
  • Added a post menu item for quicker posting

Fixed:

  • Fixed login problems reported by some users
  • Network options menu item fixed
  • Fixed an issue where media couldn’t be posted from the SD Card

Now, considering I missed this. My suggestion for the next release would clearly be to enable a method of checking for updates upon start up of the application. Makes sense to me, how about you guys?

How do you install this update? When I browse for the downloaded .jad file, DM does not recognize it as an app.

Try dragging it into the memory card folder ad opening it that way.

I usually email it to myself. Then open it via BB Browser. It takes me to the download window. Thats it. :)

Hi, I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who have this problem. At first I downloaded this update and it works really great. Until the next day, I just noticed that it doesn't load again, same as the problem in the old version. so what i did i restart my phone but nothing happens. Then I go to the application menu to check maybe somethings wrong or the settings re-arranged, and it's not. But i noticed that it was on version 1.1 so i deleted it and download a new one, but when i click the link above, it say "version1.1". Been searching foe the v1.0.1 and all the link leads me to the old version. Someone help me please? :(

This is actually functional on my 9930; why haven't they updated this thing! UI could use some tweaking, but it's flawless!

I'm running version 1.1.2 FTR
