The app lets you track flights in real-time, get information on upcoming and active flights and receive notifications for flight status. Knowing the status of your flight can be an invaluable tool, and having that information right on your device makes things that much easier. FlightView even integrates with your device calendar to help keep things organized. The current version only works for flights in North America or with one end point in North America. I won it in a Crackberry contest a couple weeks ago and it works fine on my S2. Go to applications and turn off compatibility mode...

This guy is dead on. I travel often and use Flightstats.com from my regular browswer and Opera Mini browswer. Also if you have an Iphone or Ipod touch, the actual application is free.

Moral of the story-don't throw any application on the blackberry (especially ones you have to pay for). Blackberry(s) are built for email/texting capabilities, not b.s. flight stats apps you can do for free from broswer (same thing). Too many apps slow up your memory.

iPhone web app is free, the regular website is free too... thanks, but I will not be gouged by this app. I'll just check airline websites direct such as m.aircanada.ca rather than be raped. 4.99? You have got to be kidding me.

I find this application to be very expensive. While I would pay 1 or 2 dollars (TOP) for this, there is no way I would pay 5 USD for this application that shows free available information. I have similar applications I got for free on my iPhone and there is always the web browser option. Soon, when we get the webkit browser there should be less need for this application.

Got notice approx. 10 days ago to upgrade to version 1.3 go to app. world comes back with error this application is not available through app world. They need to correct this upgrade issue
