As we are all well aware, our BlackBerry devices are excellent tools for getting things done and becoming more organized. If you haven't already noticed, I am a huge fan of productivity applications to help me accomplish these tasks so that I do not fall behind.

Ending today, Sunday May 18th, Toysoft is holding a productivity sale on a select few of their effective BlackBerry 10 applications. You can browse through the list below to take advantage of the sale prices.

All of these applications run smoothly and the developer is quick to respond to any issues that arise. The weekend goes by pretty quick so be sure to take a look before the prices reset.

A link to their entire catalog is also provided below. If you're not seeing the updated pricing, it might still be working it's way into the system. Just hit refresh and it should appear for you soon.

You can pay with a credit card or with PayPal, which can be linked to your checking account.

Can't you set it up so that it will be added to your phone bill?

Either way you need to get on board because your missing out on a lot of great paid apps and you'll be supporting BlackBerry10!

Apple makes a killing with their prepaid cards. I guess that's a model that should at least be followed in official BlackBerry Stores since many carriers have been slow to get onto carrier billing.

+1 I was stating this sinds in the beginning.. BlackBerry needs to out out prepaid cards. Here in my country we don't use credit cards or PayPal..

There is also an option to pay via your carrier.

I have Power Tools. I really want to see it work as it has so much potential. Problem is it has never worked well (for me) since I installed it. It was working somewhat before the last couple of updates but not now. Also, it is confusing to set up. Wish there was a video tutorial for setup. It also randomly stops working...just shuts itself off. Check the app Manager and it doesn't show up anywhere.

I have Profile Changer Pro by this same developer, and it's great in concept but very haphazard in real daily use. Seems it can't prioritize settings so if there's any overlap it messes up functionality and you get sounds at times you don't want or miss notifications when you do want to have/hear them.

10.3.0.296

Having the same problem. Developer needs to focus on fixing the issue with stability rather than adding more features on each update. Whatever caused the process to just randomly disappear, started a few updates ago. Further, when the process quits, you essentially lose all notifications.

I also have Power Tools and deleted it because it would stop working. I tried all of the developer's suggestions, but it remained inconsistent. It's a great app, and I will reinstall it once the issues are fixed.

Power tools is pretty much the only one you would need. It basically does it all!

Don't waste your money on these apps they are very buggy and rarely work properly. They seem to get worse with every update.

I agree. I have used Shortcut Creator a lot and it's great. Certainly one of the best apps out there!

Posted via Z10

The top three categories of shortcuts I have created on my Z10 using Shortcut Creator are: 1) regularly used telephone numbers, 2) link to my banking websites that are not in BBW, and 3) links to some sport news sites.

If folks don't know, one can add websites to the home screen as shortcuts from within the browser.

Yes, but you can't add shortcuts for sites, phone numbers, files, folders, ...., all from just the Browser! You can do all that from the Shortcut Creator.

Still not sure which is the best, BeBuzz or Hub++ or Color ID or something else, etc. for all these customized notification needs.

Also one requirement is reliability.

(Can't really test or don't want to, every missed notification or call could potentially mean lost income, I'd then rather not customize at all.)

Any suggestions?

No credit card? You can easily use one of the reload able ones from places like money mart, canada post (that one is loadable from online banking). Must be something like that in your area?

Power Tools is really nice and powerful but doesn't work perfectly. Is stops working sometimes for no reason.
So it works most of the time but it's not very reliable...
