I'm sooo glad someone finally came out w/a useable app for tips. I had one on my old windows mobile but now I'm glad to have found one for my BB. There were some other cheaper looking apps out there but not like this. From the pics and reviews it looks like really nice! Good job!

Is a tip calculator really required? Do people really find it hard to figure out 20%? Couldn't you just use the regular calculator on your phone?

Now, one can say well I can just use my brain to figure it out, but sometimes you have to rely on a tool like this because you're also busy talking to someone else at the same time, discreetly. So it would be nice to have.

Its hard to beg for somethign that sells for $2.99 but here goes. I deserve it because I have bought numerous themes that are so bad I have deleted every single one of them. This should be made up to me by giving me the tip calculator app.

I had an awesome Tip Calculator on my WinMo phone that was similar to this... I've missed it since my transition to BlackBerry. No longer will I be worried that I did my math wrong on the bill! (The issue is only present when my BAC is >.08, of course)

So, while i think this is an app that could be useful for a TON of people, I dont think i'd pay anymore than like 99 cents for it. It looks easy to use, and makes things easier, but would it garner a lot of attention for people if they charged 2.99 for it? I think it'd sell better at a low price point.... after all, 1,000 people paying .99 for it beats 100 paying 2.99......

One of the things I miss most now that a Storm has replaced my trusty old 7100i is a freebie tip calculator.

Looks sort of neat, but why not just use the calculator? Just about as easy, but it is free. This is a novelty item for sure.
