I'm sooo glad someone finally came out w/a useable app for tips. I had one on my old windows mobile but now I'm glad to have found one for my BB. There were some other cheaper looking apps out there but not like this. From the pics and reviews it looks like really nice! Good job!

I would very much like to have this app for the storm.. It seems very straight forward with just the info. I would need.. Instead of fumbling around for a pen etc or trying to figure out my tip share at a group dinner, this would be just the ticket for a quick answer...while watching them fumble around!

Now, one can say well I can just use my brain to figure it out, but sometimes you have to rely on a tool like this because you're also busy talking to someone else at the same time, discreetly. So it would be nice to have.

tipping too much isn't a bad thing. It makes the people who serve and wait on you feel like their work is being done right. It's just making sure you don't have a $30 meal and tipping $2 that is so bad. If you tip too much, you're just making someone's day that much brighter! I would just like one to have a decent mind set to know if I tip the waiter(ess) $6 when I should be tipping $4, it makes me feel like I am doing right

I had an awesome Tip Calculator on my WinMo phone that was similar to this... I've missed it since my transition to BlackBerry. No longer will I be worried that I did my math wrong on the bill! (The issue is only present when my BAC is >.08, of course)

So, while i think this is an app that could be useful for a TON of people, I dont think i'd pay anymore than like 99 cents for it. It looks easy to use, and makes things easier, but would it garner a lot of attention for people if they charged 2.99 for it? I think it'd sell better at a low price point.... after all, 1,000 people paying .99 for it beats 100 paying 2.99......

I check out crackberry.com about 15 times a day, no lie... I am always looking for the best and newest news on Blackberry life. I have the new Storm 9530 from Verizon and I love it. I used to the the Pearl, but I got married and switched to Verizon on my wifes plan and had to get the Dare. I liked that, but you couldn't add third party apps like the Blackberry devices. Then I got lucky and she let me get the Storm. Being back with Blackberry makes me soooo happy!! On my Dare, I had a TIP calculator by default installed. The blackberry does not have this so if I could get the free copy, that would be awesome!!!! My wife hates/doesn't let me spend much money, but when I do, I am usually buying apps and themes for my phone. Keep up the good work! You guys ROCK!!!

Looks sort of neat, but why not just use the calculator? Just about as easy, but it is free. This is a novelty item for sure.
