Nutritional info for doughnuts, now that's a laugh.

Mmmm doughnuts. Mmmmm....

There's a whole lot more than just doughnuts at Tim Horton's.

Posted by jfmanzo Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 161 days ago

Yeah, and it all sucks ass. The worst watered-down diarrhea coffee, pre-baked garbage, incredibly disgusting sandwiches, and lineups of clueless Canadians who think they're doing their patriotic duty by eating there. An absolute shitshow. Worst thing about emigrating to Canada is having to constantly fight this idea that Tim Hortons is anything but crap.

WOW, hope you don't have to stay too long!

umm HELLO! I didn't know this existed. Thank you!

Why does anyone need a Tim's locator? All you have to do is drive to the next intersection.

Posted by tightlybound Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 162 days ago

But here in Denver, you'd have a 1,000-mile drive.

Never heard of Tim Hortons, so I wondered if it was a regional or Canadian chain.

So I checked Google Maps to see if there were any in Southern California locations but they only have them in certain North Eastern US states and Canada. Go figure.

I was just wondering about a Timmayyy app as I was sitting in one yesturday morning!!! Thanks Bla1ze.I never know where the closest one is and My Garmin lies to me all the time!!!!

For those that don't know, Tim Hortons is to Canada what Dunkin Donuts is to the USA. Think of this as the Canadian Dunkin Donuts app. :-)

Posted by tightlybound Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 162 days ago

I'd need to drive 1,000 miles for one of them, too.

the episode of HIMYM in Toronto at the Timmy's was #classic.

Tim Horton's is the only reason why Starbucks is a flop in Canada.
.....Always Tim Horton's

Posted by 2wheeltim Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 162 days ago

No, Starbucks is a flop because no self respectable person is going to pay $10 for a cup of coffee when it's only $1.50 @ Timmy's. Plus Timmy's has way better coffee.

Twelve month earnings for SBUX was $1.28 Billion and its three year profit growth is 58%. Twelve month earnings for THI was $624 Million and its three year profit growth is 32%. Timmie's might serve a better lunch, but when it comes to earnings, SBUX is eating its lunch!!

BTW - It is impossible to spend $10 on a COFFEE at SBUX. Put all the milk, syrups, etc. and you might get it up to $6 for the largest serving size.

Starbucks is a flop in Canada ?

HA ! Go down to the Starbucks at Thurlow and Howe in Vancouver. Two Starbucks kitty corner from each other. Go tell the yuppies sipping their non-fat soy grande latte that Starbucks is not a hit in Canada.

My God, how can any human be this misinformed? Starbucks is a HUGE success in Canada. There were 17 in Calgary when I moved here in 2000 and today there are almost 200.

I'm not a fan but to speak of TH, which is a donut shop that sells horrible pre-made donuts and the world's worst brewed coffee with Starbucks which tries and fails at emulating a traditional espresso bar is just idiotic. It's like comparing a truck stop with Applebee's. They both suck complete ass but are completely separate retail forms.

I just read your post and got a great laugh!!!It was flippin' awsome...thanks =)

Posted by Jake Storm Sunday, Dec 18, 2011 161 days ago

Nice try, but there are only 72 Starbucks in Calgary.
Most of them are just tiny kiosks like the ones in Safeway.

If you want to pay idiot tax, get your coffee at Starbucks. I'll stick to the $1.50 coffee at Tim's. Hell, even Mcdonalds serves better coffee than Starbucks.

Posted by blackmoe Sunday, Dec 18, 2011 161 days ago

It's not even a donut shop anymore as they only have a few varieties on hand and the choice varies at locations. I miss the days when they had a wall of donut trays to choose from as they at least always had what I wanted. Now if every crackberry fan demanded that TH have chocolate peanut crunches on hand I would be grateful :-)

Tim Horton's is what I dislike most about Canada. :p

Posted by jfmanzo Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 161 days ago

+1000000. It's nothing but a national embarrassment. And the human garbage that drinks its "coffee."

Posted by crunch27 Sunday, Dec 18, 2011 161 days ago

You still here. Please go back to "under the rock" where you came from. Please.

You can check balance on the TimCard, but can't add to it?

Other than that, this is convenient

Still no Storm2 support? I found this app on their website months ago and it said "unfortunately there is no support for storm or torch devices at this time" But according to the device compatibility it works with most(if not all) of the new touch screen phones.
I know most people are trying to forget the storm series ever existed, but there are a few of us out there that still use one!

Some of the best chili around is at Timmy's.

Posted by DaveTheA Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 161 days ago

The first thing I did with this app was check my 10 nearest locations. Yup...been to them all...

Posted by wilsonryanp Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 161 days ago

I could do that... Problem is there's I think 35 or so Tim's locations here in Moncton, NB...(Population 120,000). (And yes I said 35) It would confuse it!!

Now all McDonald's has to do is create a knockout app for McCafe, which serves a superior coffee.
