It was beaten to BlackBerry World as the first Twitch client for BlackBerry 10 but Blink is now available to download. It had a beta stint with lots of feedback from beta testers and is now ready for prime time. If you have been waiting for Blink, the wait is over. With Blink when watching a stream via the BlackBerry Passport, Q10 or Q5, it lines up neatly at the top, as opposed to the off center view eSporter has. On the same screen you can chat. With full touchscreen devices you can view videos in landscape mode, you won't see chat in that mode though.
Blink features
- Browse currently streaming games and channels
- View streams in full screen
- Play streams on second display via HDMI or Miracast (where supported)
- Login to their Twitch account
- View profiles of other users. Follow/Unfollow
- View streams from those they are following
- Search for games, channels and users
- Chat with Channels and other users
Blink is available for all BlackBerry 10 devices running OS 10.3 and is free. We love options and we thank developers for creating native apps for us. Keep 'em coming!
