We had hoped that it wouldn't happen, but BlackBerry has indeed announced that there will be no BlackBerry Live Conference in 2014. There is definitely a shift within BlackBerry, so even though we're super upset that there will be no BB Live this year, we totally get it. BlackBerry will instead continue to run smaller, localized events around the world.

These events are designed with a greater focus on the specific business, developer, and partner audiences, and will allow you to get the most out of your attendance.
It's definitely a drag as BlackBerry Live was our big event for the year, but we have high hopes that it will be back (in some form) in the future so we'll just have to wait and see what pans out.
