Tether has long been a BlackBerry user "go to" app for getting internet access from a PC or Mac on the go. I personally have had countless times when it has saved me due to no available internet. Tether has announced today that they are dropping the app price from $49.99 to $29.99 for good. If you aren't a Tether user yet, I highly recommend grabbing it for yourself (and maybe a friend or two) at this new low price. The software for both PC and Mac as well as on device has been updated as well, so if you are a current user, make sure you have the latest version. Check out more in the CrackBerry App Store from the link below.

I'm working on the introduction to the Mobile Nations Podcast that's due to be recorded later in the day. I need to search the internet for some podcast-y music, but there's a problem. There's no internet to be found. You...

Howdy and welcome to the weekly app roundup! At the end of last week, we saw Dave Peckens join the CrackBerry Posse; I know he’ll definitely keep his CrackBerry badge polished. On second thought, the whole Crack Team should keep them extra shiny, as we are currently in the countdown to Devcon 2010. Most of the Crack Team will be there to cover it with six shooters-a-firin’! Well maybe...
