If you have access to the Team Web Store (just need to know anyone who works at Telus), the 8350i is much cheaper.

No contract $419.99
1 year $369.99
2 year $269.99
3 year $69.99‡

‡ Offer expires March 5th, 2009. Available for clients (new and renewal) who activate on a 3-year service agreement with voice plan and data rate plan feature totaling $45 or more. TELUS reserves the right to modify eligible rate plans with this offer at any time without advance notice.

They told me today when I phoned the loyalty line that 249.99$ on a 3 year was the best they could do. What do i need to do to get that price???? Can I use your connection?

I paid 0.00 dollars for my blackberry curve 8350i.
Been with telus along time they are a great company, and very willing to work with ya. so i called and they had quoted 249.00 and i said no that can't be right so my husband and I both upgraded to the blackberry curve mike phone and not a dime out of pocket 0.00 for both

Thats a lot! In the UK it would be free, and then just a two year contract for £40/mo
