TELUS BlackBerry Tour 9630 Now Available

Alright Canadians, you now have two choices when it comes to carriers for your brand new BlackBerry Tour - both Bell and Telus have now launched at this point. Telus, coming late to the race, now has their version up for grabs: $299.99 on a 3-year contract, $499.99 on a 2-year, $549.99 on a 1-year, and $599.99 with no contract at all. New customers can grab the Tour right now for $229.99 with a data plan, which really is not that bad for the hottest BlackBerry out there. One little caveat though at this point is that it seems while they have released the device, there seems to be no stock in stores until Wednesday. Check it out in the forums.

this is still bs, corporate has no stock. stores have no stock. whats the point in releasing the phone with no stock.

These forums, I realize, are not monitored for grammar and spelling but the abuse that the English language takes on the web is astounding and horrifying.

Please correct your announcement above. Instead of:

"One little caveat though at this point is that it seems while they have released the device, their seems to be no stock in stores until Wednesday."

it should read:

"One little caveat though at this point is that it seems while they have released the device, there seems to be no stock in stores until Wednesday."

I have the $300 L&R discount, is there a chance that I can get it applied to the promo pricing of $229 or is it strictly for no contract pricing?
