They aren't bundling it into their existing $30 data plan however. They are raising their BIS data plan from $25 to $30 and giving you it, so essentially they are providing TeleNav at half of the normal price. Existing customers can grandfather in their $25 BIS plan or choose to upgrade to the $30 and receive TeleNav.

If you were with U.S. Cellular and are going to spend $30/month on a smartphone plan, I would probably ditch my Tour and grab one of the new Android phones with a $30/month plan. The fact is - android is all around kicking RIM butt and your getting way more bang for your buck. I am willing to bet there is a free Android app. that works just as good if not better than the TeleNav. Bottom line is that the TeleNav service should be included in the $25/mo. BIS plan...especially with the Android platform to US Cellular this month. This move is only going to continue to take a bigger piece of BB marketshare pie and put it on Android's plate.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Tour, but RIM just seems to be very stale at the moment.

This is a very impressive app from these 2 company's and it runs very well on the Tour 9630! US Cellular is really taking the reins lately and gaining ground in the smartphone ballgame!!

I don't like the idea of upgrading my  data plan from $24.95 to $30. It would be nice to have that GPS feature from Telenav, but I already have a free, not-too-bad, GPS and I'm happy with it. Unless maybe they'll include the unlimited txt then I'll consider to upgrade it.
