Apart from the largest port in Europe in Rotterdam and delicious cheese named after the town of Edam in the province of North Holland, the Netherlands is also home to a vibrant community of BlackBerry users, which once more is expanding, courtesy of Tele2. And rightly so, as market research agency GfK Retail and Technology concluded that BlackBerry was the number one smartphone in the Netherlands in 2010. Herwin Van der Kamp, Consumer Market Director at Tele2 stresses that by adding BlackBerry smartphones to our range, we [Tele2] can give our best deals - a low price point combined with the smartphone our customers want."

Tele2 currently offers the BlackBerry Torch 9800, BlackBerry Bold 9780 in both black and white as well as the BlackBerry Curve 3G smartphones starting from 12,50 EUR for the first 12 months, and calls it the BlackBerry mania.
