Back in March we caught wind that TD Canada would eventually be releasing a BlackBerry 10 app and although it certainly took longer than I'm sure some would have hoped, it has finally arrived in BlackBerry World. Made available for both the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q10, those of you out there looking to do some banking on the go will find all the essentials needed to complete the tasks in the app.

  • TD Canada Trust: Access your consolidated chequing, savings, credit, and investment account information; pay bills and transfer money anytime, anywhere.
  • TD Waterhouse: Monitor your investments by checking account balances, list orders, holdings, and activity. View and manage watchlists and get real-time quotes for stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds. Trade stocks and exchange-traded funds.
  • Branch Locator: Find the nearest TD Canada Trust branch or ATM quickly and conveniently or locate TD Waterhouse Investor Centres in Canada and TD Bank stores and ATMs in the U.S.
  • Security: We employ advanced technology to protect your confidential information. A personal security question at log in assigns a unique identifier to your mobile device, adding a layer of security to your mobile banking.

If you do you banking with TD, you'll certainly want to grab this one and give it a go. You can download it or learn more about the app, using the BlackBerry World link below. Just remember, this only for Canada.

Just did a search for TD in BB world and it found it and let me download it too. So try that instead of CB's link.

I got the same message. I wonder if they purposely only support lower OS numbers and nothing that may include leaks... that would be sad.

Posted via CB10

Nah, I have 2342 and just downloaded and works fine.....
Come on RBC! It's your time now...

Yup. Maybe it's been programmed overseas? I'm working with an overseas group right now and execution is... well...

Posted via CB10

I know eh? They are always late to the game. Why can't they just update their mobile site to an updated html 5 version. Then everyone is happy. Right now their mobile site is awful.

Posted via CB10

Great to see it but it only allows access to one TD card; need to access multiple cards to include my business accounts.

I have been using the mobile website and it has worked fine, what are the benefits of using the app over the mobile enabled website?

Posted via CB10

You can do multiple cards. Where it says accesscard or name just type in the second card and password and login. Once it has connected successfully next time you log in you have a choice of card. Works great

Posted via CB10

Hmm the link in the CB app would not let me download but I just searched Td in BlackBerry World and it found it and I could download it

Posted via CB10

Never mind. Apparently you can property link to it, you have to search for "TD Canada" to get location/device detection to work properly in BBW.

Posted via CB10 v1.4.2 on my Zed10 10.1.0.273 on Rogers

Seems I can log in just fine. Looks exactly like android and iOS app.

It has taken so long to get here that I ended up just bookmark short cutting the Web link.

I like green!!Just downloaded ,no problem.I noticed that the app wasn't specificatly made for BB,like the CB one is ,no little BB tag on the icon on the bottom right hand corner.Looks like a great app.

Sorry, the little tab on the lower right of the icon means it has been Built for Blackberry Approved just like the CB one is, these Apps are top of the line ,considering security ,ect...

What a joke all this wait or people and it's not even a native app. Just another reason to add to the book on why I left TD, lazy pricks.

Posted via CB10

It's Native... and works really good I like what I am seeing so far. Bank accounts and stock accounts, it's all there really nice app.

I beleive they said this fall for something from BMO Investorline (going with a mobile web app). Regular BMO accounts probably sooner.

I just typed TD in Blackberry world and it was the first hit and it downloaded on my Z10 (STL 100-3 SW 10.1.0.273 on Rogers) without trouble.. nice App. If only RBC would get on board. Apparently they are "working on it".

Heard same thing from royal. Only the biggest bank in canada, why would they have their shit together with an app at launch time?
Embarrassing, talk about lack of execution. Royal has a windows8 app... seriously I have not seen a single windows8 phone in the wild, what's there market share in Canada, 1%? BlackBerry's market share is 13.5% in Canada WTF

Great News for TD bankers but the joke is that Canada's largest bank RBC still has nothing for bb10........ how embarrassing

Posted via CB10

Stop blaming companies for taking advantage of loopholes. Blame politicians and law makers. We're a capitalist society.

Awesome, beeb waiting for this one. In your face PC... once my mortgage is up TD will be getting all my banking business.

Posted via CB10

When I got my Z10 at the Canada launch all it was missing for me was my banking app and my Skype.. now I have it all!

Posted via CB10

PC is a joke! According to their Web team they have no plans on launching a BB10 app.

Posted via CB10

As usual,TD and BB'y are the last to the party. I've been using the Web based site since day 1 of Z10 ownership. And judging by the gripes probably will be for weeks to come. ARE YOU LISTENING TD &BB'y??

From Mark's Z10

contact your BMO service desk and lodge a complaint. Ask them why they don't have something out when their competitor TD does. I did already but the more pressure, the more it is a priority.

I expect that they will soon cover the US with another app specifically tailored to your banking environment. Be patient, higher security apps take time.

Posted via CB10

i had this app on my previous BB9900 and as soon as I opened the BB World id appeared as downloaded once already.

The mobile site was more useful. I hate to be a hater, but what a pathetic app from TD - I'm really disappointed.

Posted via CB10

If you gave the article a read you would have noticed that it says the app is only available in Canada for now.

Still missing Foreign exchange transfers between $US and $Cdn accounts. I have to use the web site online banking on a PC to do that as the mobile web looks exactly like this app.

No Web front for RBC...
Just posted a tweet from RBC in the TD thread that I received today.

Posted via CB10

I'm so happy about this!! Thanks TD!! And guys. Stop saying "finally" to every app that arrives to blackberry world a little later than usual. You make blackberry look bad for the rest of the crew reading who doesn't own a blackberry. Let's support blackberry and not bash it.

Posted via CB10

Could lot have said it better myself. Well said. Let celebrate when they deliver new apps. Takes resources to develop and deliver a free app for a new platform. Where did this big chip on BlackBerry 10 owners shoulder scome from. Great phone, great OS, and some great apps. We bought the phone knowing it would take some time. TD banking was was always available in the awesome browser on BB10 now it's just a little easier with a great app!!!!!! Thanks TD

Posted via CB10

Wonder if the US folks borrow a Canadian sim card and then download... they could purchase a cheap 7eleven sim (rogers) or Petro Canada sim (also rogers)...

Posted via CB10

You sure your using the same app?
Do you have a TD webbroker account set up because I can place trades using this App..

Posted via CB10 on Blackberry Z10!

You're right, never mind. Good app! I clicked on the TD Waterhouse and it just goes to the phone number to make a call in trade and assumed it didn't.

Its a bit of a bodge but you can sideload the Android app if that's any use. I have the TD UK Android app sideloaded on my Z10 here in the UK and works just fine. Am sure you can find the TD Canada version from somewhere. Just needs converting from APK to BAR.

Nice to have an application. I was kinda hoping with the delay that TD was working on some NFC implementation.

Anybody know if TD has mobile NFC in the works?

About time! Though native app may be worth the wait. Would like to have the separation between account / investments / credit stand out a little more.

Posted via CB10

Same boat as you. MSG'ed TD about it. They asked me to try a direct link which also didn't work out. Replied to them and waiting to see what they say.

Even though I don't dare to do banking on the go, it is awesome to have banking apps for everyone who need them. Now the only two banks I am with, i.e. Scotiabank and TD, have already built apps for BB10. So sweet :)

Posted via CB10 on my adorable Z10

I'm happy for all you TD customers. I'm still waiting for BMO to get their ass in gear and get their mobile banking app properly developed for Z10/Q10 instead of dusting me off with "We already have an android app".
Ya, sure, and I can just side load that!

Posted via CB10

Go to TD get the BB10 banking app and open a new chequing account right now and get a new Samsung tablet. What you waiting for?

Posted via CB10

Bout Friggin time. But slowly moving to new bank though sorry td your customer service sucked this should of been ready

Posted via CB10

I don't have an account with TD, but I did a test for the people who have a Z10 and said they can't get it. It downloaded for me from BlackBerry World, without fail and it works. I'm on the Rogers network though

Posted via CB10

Not available on Z10 through Koodo Mobile.

ANyone else having the same issue? It is quite stupid how it's out for all carriers except for Koodo.

Those that can't get it to work, just use the mobile site, it is literally the same thing.

Posted via CB10

Too late. Just finished moving my account to a credit union (after 39 years). The 19 million dollar per day profit TD makes every single day makes me sick.

You must stop looking at banks as an evil corporation owned by aliens. Banks are widely held by the public, either through direct share holdings, mutual funds or their pension plans, etc. You probably have benefited from their profits without knowing it. And then there are the tens of thousands of employees that feed their children.

Posted via CB10

It took TD Canada Trust a while to make a BlackBerry 10 app. But, I'm really pleased that it's now available.

Posted via CB10

Why the f*** do people keep posting about RBC what does that have to do with the td app. This site would be much better if someone moderated the comments. BY deleting the off topic nonsense.

Posted via CB10

First thing I'd do as a mod is charge you demerit points. Common sense is not that common. You just proved it.

If more banks will start making apps for BlackBerry I will be extremely happy. That is the only thing I am missing to make my BlackBerry complete.

Posted via CB10

So tell me how what I posted didn't make sense genius?

This is about the td banking apps not about banking apps in general so people posting about RBC being slow and not having an app is off topic.

If you are gonna go full retard please do it outside.

Posted via CB10

Can't download it, but I think it's because I am in London town on vacation! Can't wait to get back to Mtl!

Posted via CB10

I am on koodo and it says application not available, popped in my rogers sim and voilà app downloaded. In BlackBerry world it still shows an error but all is working, weird that it works on one carrier and not another.

Posted via CB10

It has been a long time in coming, but I am glad that the TD app is finally available in BB world. Hopefully the other banking apps will soon be available as well.

Posted via CB10 from my spectacular Z10

Am with Koodo and it says it is unavailable for this device. I have a Z10. When i type in TD there r other stuff, other than the TD banking app. But when i type in TD Canada, there is nothing that comes up. Help please

Posted via CB10

There is pretty much no difference between this app and the mobile web shortcut I was using already.

Posted via CB10

I can't seem to download it on my phone. I have the latest software update with Koodo? Anyone else have this problem?

Posted via CB10

What is reason so many of us are unable to get this app and it shows as unavailable. Anyone with an answer? Hello TD?

Posted via CB10

Ditto!!

I even went back to Rogers .273 software, on the mobile network, and still says unavailable. TD hasn't helped, after asking for a link to the bar file, they suggested i call in, which won't do anything. and suggested i delete older version, and also supplied loinks to OS7/6/5 files.

Can anybody please extract the .bar and upload so we can sideload? :)
