Yesterday a crazy story of how Wired's Mat Honan got hacked was flying around the net. If you haven't yet read the post, you really should. It's a real eye-opener and made me think twice three times about my own passwords and security. One thing I jumped on that I never used in the past is Gmail's 2-step verification. This feature gives your Gmail account added security by requiring a code to be entered along with your password when logging in. The code is sent to you via a voice call, SMS or through an app and makes sure would-be hackers can't get at your email. Keep reading and we'll look at how to setup 2-step verification for your Gmail account on your BlackBerry smartphone.
