We have already covered a few ways to sideload your favourite apps onto you BlackBerry PlayBook here on CrackBerry, both for Mac and PC but some people are not too comfortable with command prompts. That's where the PlayBook App Manager Browser Plugin comes in.

Developed by a member of our forums, CrackOp, PlayBook App Manager makes sideloading app onto your PlayBook as easy as dragging and dropping the .BAR file into a web interface. It's fast, it's easy, you'll be sideloading in no time.

Football season is just a few short long weeks away, and fans everywhere are gearing up. One thing on my checklist is my fantasy football team -- I plan to stay on top of things this year and thankfully I can grab the Yahoo! Fantasy Football app for my BlackBerry PlayBook. To get the app installed you'll have to sideload it since it's not available directly in BlackBerry App World, but it's working like a champ for me thus far and is sure to be at my side all seaon long.

If you want to get Yahoo! or NFL Fantasy Football up and running on your BlackBerry PlayBook, just grab the .bar files here and here and keep reading for how to get it done!

CrackBerry Asks: How important is side loading to you?

*Update from Kevin: I reached out to RIM to get further clarification on RIM's future plans for sideloading. RIM clarified that they have not officially announced their longterm sideloading strategy as of yet, and for now it is at it always was. That said, they are going to look at ways of reducing piracy which may or may not include changing the ability to sideload apps. As a first step, RIM did say they are going to introduce a feature in an upcoming release of the PlayBook OS that will encrypt apps so they can only be run by the user who purchased the app. *
