President Obama's BlackBerry has been a topic of discussion for years. He is a die-hard user that hasn't been tempted to change his ways and switch to another device. The President as a BlackBerry user is the epitome of security, never really seen as well as in the image above from TIME photographer Callie Shell. The image is part of a collection of photos 48 Hours with Obama. This one is obviously our favorite since the BlackBerry Bold 9900 (or 9930?) looks so awesome sitting next to that red CLASSIFIED folder.

Obama's BlackBerry takes a dive - Proves it's still affected by gravity

A while back we posted a poll asking how many of you have dropped your device. Over 80% of those that voted have dropped their device at least once, with a crazy 26% dropping it five times or more. Well President Barak Obama is now part of the dropped BlackBerry club as he was actually caught on camera as he dropped his device on a recent trip to Tennessee. It appears that it wasn't his slippery fingers that lost it but maybe a sub-par holster clipped onto his pants. As he was trotting along, the device seemed to pop off and take a short trip to the pavement. Word is that all is well since the device was safely inside the holster case, but perhaps Mr. Obama might want to invest in some better protection like an OtterBox or an upgraded hard case? Keep reading for more images.

US Presidential hopeful Barack Obama loses the annual Washington BlackBerry Quick Draw Contest to fellow Democrat Ken Salazer of Colorado. Said Obama after the defeat "I think my holster was a little too much to the left, although not as far left as Hilary's!"

Vice President and a past winner, Dick Cheney was banned this year after hitting fellow Republican Chuck Hagel in the face with his BlackBerry last year.
