Take life by the horns with The Perfect Year for BlackBerry 10

When I'm not slaving away in front of my computer scouring up BlackBerry news, I love to get away on my own or with the fam and take in new adventures. Often times ideas run thin and I'm left doing some not so exciting things, but thanks to The Perfect Year that all changes today.

From the guys at InsideHook (yes, these guys), The Perfect Year is an awesome app that shows off "all the things you've ever wanted to do — but never knew how to find". The app shows off a list of adventures - everything from skydiving to deep sea fishing to camping trips to the Bear Grylls Survival Academy.

Each is shown in a photo and corresponding number. Simply tap the photo to learn more about the adventure such as cost, location and any dates that may apply. If it looks like something you want to do, star it and it's save to your experiences list. Want to pass? Swipe it up and move on to the next.

The app itself is really well designed and I've already lost a ton of time scrolling through and searching for new ideas. Keep in mind that most of the adventures are pretty extreme and some quite costly, but The Perfect Year definitely gives you some awesome ideas for manly adventures near you.

Grab it free from BlackBerry World and go live your life!

I really like this idea. Hopefully it can cure some of my boredom on lazy days.

Well that didn't take me long to go through their entire selection of things to do... and nothing around my location. Great idea but needs more feature. Love the UI.

Sounds interesting, and why not support the guys promoting the q10? Unless this was their plan all along.....

Manly or many?

"the fam"? Is that what the cool people say? "Often times ideas run thin and I'm left doing some not so exciting things, but thanks to The Perfect Year that all changes today." Yeah, sure it does, you sound like a bad commercial. LOL

Bear Grylls survival academy = checking into the nearest Marriott when things get "a little tough!"

Great app and it's native Cascades, too! I got some pretty cool ideas of things to do from here, even if I don't do the exact activities with those specific vendors. Great idea generator.
