BlackBerry and Unity Technologies have just announced they have developed an add-on product for BlackBerry 10 smartphones to empower Unity's 1.5 million member developer community to publish their games on both BlackBerry 10 smartphones and the BlackBerry PlayBook when it gets the OS10 update. I seriously can not leave my house without my BlackBerry PlayBook, it's all because of the games, and the 7 inch form factor. As noted in yesterdays BlackBerry DevCon general session keynote, the folks from Unity have now started their roll out of games for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Back during BlackBerry World we were all treated to some spectacular gaming demos from the folks from Unity. At the time, they stated five games were slated for launch on the BlackBerry PlayBook, one of those games being Samurai Vengence II and they expected them to launch in the 'summer' -- that never happened as we all know.
