Tronic is a newer theme from WJD Designs, that has recently been updated to support the Curve 8900, and Torch 9800 due to popular request. The theme is visually striking, and packed full of customization. Tronic features control of how many icons rows you have, custom battery and signal meters as well as a "mesh wallpaper" that keeps the surrounding interface when personalizing your wallpaper. The overall look of the theme is brilliant and totally custom, and for some reason reminds me of a certain movie.

Tronic is available for $2.99 at the CrackBerry App Store, and available for the Storm 95xx, 96xx, 8900, 9700, and Torch 9800.

Contest: We have 25 copies of Tronic to give away. Just leave a comment on this post to enter. Contest ends this Sunday at midnight PST. Please only leave one comment, multiple entries wont count.

Over the years we have seen many different OS replica themes come across our forums, some replace just the icons while others go for a whole device overhaul, and this is exactly what BlingBerry Themes has done with their latest. The iPhone Simulator is a very fitting name for this theme as it will leave users wondering if they are really playing with a simulator, or still using their BlackBerry device. The attention to detail in this theme is unmatched by any other theme, from the way the custom folder icons were created, to the custom SVG work which allows the look of multitasking how it is done on the iOS devices. Also, included in this theme is a calendar application which allows the icon to change dates, which gives an even truer experience to the iOS devices, because every detail counts. Words really don't do true justice for this theme, so check out the video above, and be sure to grab your very own copy today from the CrackBerry Store for $3.99 while it's on sale.

You all remember the "concierge app" that RIM showed off right? Well Infinity takes that concept and steps it up to the next level on many scales. Not just in funtionality but also looks.

Infinity takes your current icons and conveniently prioritizes them at the top in categories. A prominent clock makes it very easy to see the time even at the quickest glance. • Practical design
  • 14-16 organized quick access icons
  • 5-6 customizable icon dock
  • Large "Today" preview area for Messages and Calendar
  • Weather or Profile slot

The folks from WJD Designs have been hard at work preparing some new themes for everyone. Having recently teamed up with JP Designs they have also now welcomed aboard KD. The combined efforts of all three designers has been pretty awesome as you can tell from the video above. Three new themes have been launched now. Synthesis, Opake and Pink Plaid are all available in the shop crackberry store. And looking at the design flow going here, they all look to be pretty sexy. Opake even supports the BlackBerry Pearl 3G so if you are new to that device, you might as well grab yourself a new theme to go with your new Pearl.

Possibly the greatest BB theme promo video of all time... watch below! :)

Contest time!! Everybody's friend Wayne D hit us up with some freebies to give away of his premium theme creation, OS 6. Since he introduced it a few weeks back, it has shot up the BlackBerry themes best sellers' list to where it's currently sitting in the #1 position. Wayne's other latest creation, the ClockWork animated theme, is also sitting in the top ten. Suffice to say, WJD Designs may not be in the Theme Throwdown taking place right now, but he's one of many top theme designers who could be duking it out for the king of themes title as well (our software partner picked the competitors, CrackBerry wasn't involved in that process, so don't blame us if your favorite theme devs are missing out on the battle... hopefully they'll be in the next one!).

There's a reason OS 6 is currently the top-selling theme in the CrackBerry App Store. The theme features a lot of the fun and goodness that we can hope to expect when BlackBerry 6 finally lands on our devices (and if you can't have the real deal, you go for the next best thing... the theme!). I'm not sure what I like more, the promo video or the theme itself (no comment on Wayne's dancing skills). The OS 6 theme sells for $2.99 and is available for the BlackBerry Bold 9700, 96xx series and Storm, but we have 25 copies to give away. Just leave a single comment on this post to enter. Contest ends Sunday at midnight PDT.

BePhone is another great looking theme from the guys at JMal and AHaz Designs. Its a clone iPhone theme that really runs smooth, and looks beautiful on your BlackBerry device. It features high quality icons, a today screen, and slide panels that contain a few extra pages of your apps. As with all of JMal and AHaz themes, the theme runs super fast, and is high quality all around. I realize the iPhone themes have been done before (a lot), but this quite possibly may be the best of the bunch. It is on sale until May 31st for $1.99, and compatible with any BlackBerry running OS 4.5 and higher.

I've always like the idea behind animated BlackBerry themes, but the problem that I have found with many of them was the fact some feel rather basic. By basic I mean after a 3-5 day stretch, the animation really just isn't all that cool any more and I just want to move on to the next one. WJD Designs has managed to blow that idea out of the water with the latest creation to come from them. Clockwork, is a visually amazing piece of work that has challenged me to re-think what BlackBerry theme developers are capable of when creating themes. The video tells its own tale of functionality built into the theme - check it out. For those of you wondering about which devices it will run on, Clockwork is available for all Storm, 96xx, 97xx and 8530 series devices and sells for $2.99. Hit the link for the full features list.

Remember the screen captures of that "personal concierge" app RIM put into a BlackBerry Developer presentation that had people wondering if by chance it could be a glimpse of what OS 6.0 is going to look like? It has been the cause of a lot of interesting conversation in the forums and must have struck a chord with theme developer WJD Designs too as demonstrated by their new theme SIX which emulates the app design in a theme and even makes room for two widget-styled apps. WJD Designs worked with Toysoft to put a working analog clock and calendar into the theme. Definitely cool to see some collaboration in the app/theme space.

There is a LOT to SIX, so be sure to watch the video above and jump over to the product page for the full description. It's available for the BlackBerry Storm2/Storm, Bold 9700/9000, Tour 9630 and Curve 8900. The theme normally costs $4.99 but is on sale right now for $2.99 until March 20th. The Calendar and Clock applications are in 7-day trial mode and each sell for $1.99 normally, but are discounted to 99 cents each when purchased via the installed theme.

Elecite released a cool new theme a few days ago now. Plasma is the first animated background theme from Elecite. The pulsating wallpaper in the background is rather eye catching and can be turned on or off directly from the homescreen depending on your mood. An integrated weather slot and 11-12 icons take up the homescreen which allows for easy access to applications.

When clicking to the application screen you are welcomed with some unique icons. The icons are pictures of the applications you're trying to access, only minimized as seen in the video above. The notification system in Plasma is also one that is unique. If you have unread messages of any sort you will see the yellow star at the bottom turn red and then yellow again as messages are checked. Be sure to read the reviews from other users to get an idea of how it may function on different devices.

Elecite Releases Poser - A Fun Premium Theme

[ youtube video link for mobile viewing ]

Poser has been around for a few days now and after having checked it out I can surely say it's unique and not just your everyday theme. First off, it's the first theme I have used that is actually interactive and fun to set up. Secondly, this is a premium theme on a very unique level.

Poser allows you to take a pic of Stewie from Family guy and "pose" him how you do so wish. Right from your device you can customize the head, weapons, accessories, outfit and if you want you can even give it a poodle for a pet. The best part is you can choose from five pre-made backgrounds or you can use your own.

In addition to all that fun, Elecite is making a contest out of it as well. All you have to do is download the theme, make your own poser and screen cap it. Once screencapped, email it off to Elecite for your chance to win the cost of theme plus another free theme and be featured in the Poser top 10 hall of fame. Great idea, cool theme. Downside? Only available for Storm devices at this time. However, it is available at the 50% off bonus price.
