RIM and Nokia settled their differences last week in their ongoing patent case. While originally it was unsure of the actual payment amount, in RIM's 6-K filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, it was disclosed that Nokia will be receiving an initial payment of $65 million in addition to "ongoing payments" from RIM for use of the patents. Nokia is looking to ban the sale of all BlackBerry smartphones with WLAN capabilities (which is most current phones) following a dispute over patent royalty fees. The IDC has released their Q3 2012 report for the top smartphone vendors and Research In Motion has picked up the number three spot. Sitting behind only Apple and Samsung, RIM bumped Nokia out of the top-5 for the first time since 2004. BlackBerry OS Running On A Nokia 5700?

I..really don't know what to say about this. It appears as though the above Nokia 5700 has been frankenstiened to run a port of the BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 8220 OS more specifically. Maxpda is the source of this unruly behaviour and as much as I am appalled, I find myself unable to stop looking at it. Well, best I can say is if it's a fake, they sure did the video of it in action quite well...
