Traffic Mania

The team over a Mobigloo just let us know that their popular game Traffic Mania has now made it's way onto the BlackBerry PlayBook. Traffic Mania, which is available in BlackBerry App World for $2.99, is a game that gives you control over the traffic and the destiny of the vehicles barrelling down the highway. Smashing cars and causing accidents are all part of the game and with 9 scenes and a huge selection of vehicles you're bound to have entertainment for hours.

Features

  • 9 scenes to play (Main Street, Freeway, Downtown, Interchange, River, Rio, Tramway, New York and Roundabout)
  • Many types of vehicles: cars, convertibles, bikes, trucks, pick up, buses and even a tramway!
  • Amazing graphics and smooth animation
  • Warning: highly addictive

I've been playing the game for about three days and I can't seem to beat my high score of 120 in crash mode, sad I know -- but I challenge CrackBerry nation to see who can beat my high score -- just for fun of course :-)

Mobigloo game sale

Two popular games from Mobigloo are on sale right now! Nintaii and Next Dual Pack are both challenging puzzle type games for BlackBerry that will provide you with hours of entertainment. Both games are available for most every BlackBerry smartphone with OS 4.2 and higher and are on sale for just $.99 each (regularly $4.99!).

Next Dual Pack is currently the #1 paid app in BlackBerry App World! In this game, your goal is to match cubes on the playing field by color and shape until they disappear. Sounds easy, but it's actually quite challenging. You get 128 levels to work through, so don't expect to breeze right through and be done in a day.

Nintaii is one of my favorite games for BlackBerry. The objective of the game is to tumble a rectangular block through each stage and deposit it into the square hole at the end. Switches, road blocks and arrows are located in many levels. With 100 levels in total, this game will also keep you occupied for quite some time. Nintaii has a free trial available as well.

W00t!! Pinball Deluxe for BlackBerry Smartphones is now available!! We brought you a sneak peek of Pinball Deluxe from Orlando at WES 2010 last month. I was excited about it then and I'm even more excited now to see it released. BlackBerry has been lacking a good "pinball" game and the great thing about Pinball Deluxe is that the developer Mobigloo has made it available for pretty much every BlackBerry device model, touchscreen and non-touchscreen, from OS 4.2 and up.

The game graphics are bright and clean and look good. The game play smooth and physics are realistic. They've packed in lots of features. There's language support for English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. If you own a BlackBerry and have found yourself always coming back to BrickBreaker to kill the time and not trying anything new, I think this is a game you'll definitely enjoy. It's easy to pick up and just play. The cost is $4.99. The only bad news here is the lack of a free trial, but after the hours I've already spent playing on it I'm pretty sure it's a game purchase you'll be satisfied with. Follow the link below for more info, screen captures and to buy. Don't blame me if you kill your weekend playing it. ;)

Weekend Sale: Save $2.00 and Get Road Mania this weekend for only $2.99 >>

The folks from Mobigloo, makers of such BlackBerry game classics as Nintaii, Next Dual Pack and Air Traffic Control, are back with a new game for BlackBerry Storm users called Road Mania. The goal of Road Mania is simple yet oh soooo challenging (and addictive and fun).... All you have to do is keep the traffic flowing! Here's the official verbage:

Road Mania puts you in charge of keeping the traffic flowing on busy junctions and preventing crashes. Vehicles approach the crossroads from all directions. Your role is to either speed them by flicking them with your finger or make them stop by simply tapping on them. For every vehicle that makes it to the other side, you score a point. But if there's a crash, the game ends. Features include:

  • 9 scenes to play (Main Street, Freeway, Downtown, Interchange, River, Rio, Tramway, New York and Roundabout)
  • Many types of vehicles: cars, convertibles, bikes, trucks, pick up, buses and even a tramway!
  • Amazing graphics and smooth animation
  • Warning: highly addictive

The graphics are really solid in this one and the game play is smooth and fun. I gave it a go and like it a lot. Two CrackBerry thumbs up! Road Mania works on both the BlackBerry Storm 9530/9500 as well as the BlackBerry Storm2. Road Mania sells for $4.99 and you can learn more and purchase from the CrackBerry App Store by following the link below.

Wouah! How else can I describe this new piece of software? Finally, someone understands that as much as I would love to eat a variety of good meals with low fat, low calories, low everything, I just don’t have time for it. With my business trips, even if I don’t want to, I often end up in a fast food. Does that sound familiar? Fast Food Calorie Counter for BlackBerry doesn’t tell you what to do or not to do. It fits any diet or no diet at all. It features a database containing 3,000 menu items from 29 different fast food places. For each menu item the nutrition information shows the number of calories, grams of fat, carbs, protein and fiber. And you will not believe how wrong we can be about all these things…
