While you may not be able to stream music directly from your BlackBerry Smartphone to your BlackBerry PlayBook using BlackBerry Bridge, that doesn't mean it's not possible at all. MBLWare has updated JeeoSuite to v1.0.1.41 and along with that, have also release the JeeoPlayer companion app which will allow you to stream music from your BlackBerry to your PlayBook over WiFi. New features added to JeeoSuite include:

  • Stream media from JeeoSuite to your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ via JeeoPlayer
  • BlackBerry 7 Support
  • Contacts Integration
  • Applications List
  • Fixes, and updates to existing features

JeeoPlayer as it is now, supports streaming playback of MP3 and M4A audio files with video comng in a later planned update. JeeoPlayer also includes Twitter integration so that you may share what music you are listening to with your friends. If you've been looking for a way to set the music on your BlackBerry free, give JeeoPlayer a shot. Both JeeoPlayer and JeeoSuite are available for free on BlackBerry App World.

JeeoSute Beta

One of my favorite apps, JeeoSuite, had an update for their beta yesterday, bringing many improvements. If you haven't heard of JeeoSuite before, it is a WiFi Portal for your BlackBerry. Giving you access to your device's email, calendar, files, bookmarks, memos, photos, and device stats. It also has various tools including my personal favorite, screen capture. This update includes several bug fixes and overall performance optimization. JeeoSuite is still in public beta, and free to download for most devices, via the link below

JeeoSuite for BlackBerry

We are big fans of JeeoSuite here at CrackBerry, and for good reason. If you haven't heard of it yet, JeeoSuite is a wifi portal for your BlackBerry. You can transfer files, access email, bookmarks, stats, and tools right from your computer via your browser. This app is really awesome, and up until now it was also hard to get your hands on as mblware still had it locked down in a private beta. Well, the wait is over. If you've been itching to get your hands on JeeoSuite and you haven't been able to yet, you'll be happy to learn that you now can. Mblware sent out emails last night to people who had signed up but not been chosen for the private beta informing them that a public beta version is now available. To download JeeoSuite for your BlackBerry you can visit http://get.jeeosuite.com from your phone.

So go get signed up, install the app, and give it a go! If you're already part of the private beta, you will want to update your version of JeeoSuite as well. Full instructions on what to do once you've installed are after the break, and if you're still unsure of what exactly JeeoSuite is, or why you want it, check out the video below for a full rundown. Let us know what you think of it in the comments below or in the forums, and if you have feedback for mblware be sure to submit it to them!

Jeeosuite

A few weeks ago we let you know about a new app for BlackBerry from mblware called JeeoSuite that is currently in private beta testing. JeeoSuite is a wifi web-portal for your BlackBerry, and it's well on its way to becoming one of those "must have" apps that all BlackBerry users are going to want to get their hands on.

The early phases of testing revealed a ton of handy features, and we just learned that the next phase is rolling out soon and it's going to have even more cool functions for you to drool over. On top of the features listed below, you will now also have access to Mail (webmail for your BlackBerry), Calendar, Memos, and a Photo Browser! The team has also overhauled many other features of the app including the wifi File Browser. This is a really exciting update, and

I'm anxious to try out the new features! According to the JeeoSuite Twitter account, all of these features will be available in a free version, with a pro (premium) version to be released later. If you would like to sign up for beta testing, you can do so at the link below and you can check out the rest of the features and screenshots after the break!

Jeeosuite

While you may not have heard of JeeoSuite as of yet, we're pretty positive that once you get your hands on it you'll pretty much love it. The WiFi web portal designed for BlackBerry smartphones opens up quite a few options for BlackBerry owners. While some of the features have been around for a while, no one app has been able to bring them all together in as nice of a package as JeeoSuite. So what does JeeoSuite do exactly? Glad you asked. Check out the features listed below:

  • File Browser: Access your SD Card and Device Memory. Upload, Download, even stream media over Wifi to your computer web-browser.
  • Security: Upload / Download permissions can be quickly toggled right in the app for added security.
  • Optimize Memory: Never pay for a Memory Cleaning app again! Free up memory with the click of a button in JeeoSuite.
  • Screenshot: Take a snapshot of the current screen on your phone. Screenshots appear in your computer web-browser allowing you instant access.
  • Locate Phone: Nothings more frustrating than trying to find where you left your phone. JeeoSuite will send out an audible alert so you can track it down.
  • Bookmarks: Create and Edit Bookmarks. Take them with you where-ever you go and browse them on any computer.
  • Dashboard: View your phones vital stats like Memory Usage, OS Version, Battery Life, IP Address, GPS Location, and more in the System Dashboard.

The set up process is pretty darn easy as well. Download, install and enable WiFi. Once enabled, you'll be given an internal IP address to which you visit via your computer web browser. From there, you are presented with the JeeoSuite dashboard that allows you to control all the features available. The option to screen cap from your device to your computer is fast and easy and I won't admit to how many times I've had to use the locate phone feature to find my BlackBerry. A premium version is scheduled for later release but for now, we've got 100 invites to give away thanks to MBLWare. Drop some comments on the post, we'll pick some winners for next week.

*Also, please note: Jeeosuite makes use of the WiFi on your device. If your device does not have WiFi, please do not enter. It's rather pointless.*
