Inside BlackBerry has posted up some pretty cool videos and a brief write up on just how BlackBerry smartphones are tested for durability. Like pretty much every other product that hits the market, your BlackBerry goes through any number of tests before it lands on your doorstep. From the water test to drop tests to a pretty insane bend test, the folks at RIM work hard making sure your device will stand up to the pressures of daily use. The bend test makes sure your device can handle a bit of flexing if you sit on it, and phones even gets shocked with an Electrostatic Discharge to make sure the components are safe and sound. BlackBerry PlayBook

The announcement that the BlackBerry PlayBook would support Android applications was a big one - no question. However some of the details were/are still up in the air for a lot of users, both consumers and developers. While we may not have all our answers until we actually try things out on our own, Inside BlackBerry has shed some light on things and how it will benefit both developers and consumers. Inside BlackBerry shows off BlackBerry 6 multimedia experiences

The push for BlackBerry 6 is still on a roll. Although, a few days behind what Salomondrin posted; Research In Motion has now posted their own walk through of the BlackBerry 6 Multimedia capabilities. While no videos were included in the walk through, it certainly outlines some of the finer aspects of things to come from BlackBerry 6.

A new improved camera UI, better picture handling and organization, improved YouTube integration which allows for streaming, sharing and uploading of videos. And one of my personal favorites, built in Podcast app so that you may enjoy the CrackBerry podcast on the go. Finally, better ways to handle and organize your music and videos. As I've mentioned before, media capabilities always felt like a back burner issue on BlackBerry and it's nice to see that Research In Motion has brought it forward with BlackBerry 6. More shots and info after the break.

Wanna Send A Message From The Worlds Largest BlackBerry?

The folks over at Inside BlackBerry posted up the above pic of the worlds largest BlackBerry (Obviously, not a real pic folks). Being two stories high; the device is currently on display in Paris, France. The really cool part here is that through the Facebook fanpage for BlackBerry France, you'll actually be able to send messages and pictures to it and have them displayed - all of which will be streamed live from the Beaubourg Esplanade on May 20th through the 22nd. Makes me want to sign up for Facebook just so I can see the CrackBerry logo in some way sent to it :-)
