It was a tough time for a lot of people, because as every one knows, most BlackBerry users are addicted to their devices. This one popped up a few days ago and I think its one that is worth seeing. We all know the dangers of texting while driving, but this video shows the danger involved in texting while walking. This woman at a Pennsylvania mall is apparently so oblivious while she looks at her phone that she walks right into the wall of a mall fountain, trips over it and ends up soaking wet. Afterwards, she simply gets up and strolls off like it never happened. I have to say if I ever get to this point I may consider not taking my BlackBerry out in public (or going out in public at all). RIM announced in a press release today. that it will be selling the BlackBerry platform to Treo maker, Palm , in a record $169 Billion dollar deal.  Asian reporter, Trisha Takanawa was the first to report this story on the Quhaog, RI news early this morning.  The main reason cited for RIM's decision was that RIM wanted to show its BlackBerry users the robust and stable experience that could be had by using PalmOS.  All BlackBerry users are urged to call 1-800-555-6227 for more information in exchanging their BlackBerry's for Palm Treo 8800 models.

Whoa, BlackBerry, ram-bla-dam...

Earlier today confidential sources in Springfield reported that Bart Simpson himself was written up for using his CrackBerry in class!  He had to serve his detention writing on the board as usual.  We have exclusive footage here at CrackBerry.com.  When asked why he was using his BlackBerry, Bart simply replied, "Eat my shorts, man."

Made my way to the office this morning, and it wasn't until I walked into the office that I realized... I forgot my BlackBerry at home! My colleagues here at CrackBerry.com immediately started laughing and pointing their fingers at me (ok, they didn't really do that) but they did realize that this was a perfect situation to analyze my CrackBerry 'withdrawal'. Can I survive without it? Am I going to be ok? Or should I take the half-hour drive home to go pick it up?

Throughout the day today I am going to update this post to let you know how I'm doing. At the moment I feel fine, but it is still early!

'Berryless' Breakdown by the Hour:

9:00 AM: Realized I'm 'Berryless' for the day. Feeling ok. We'll see how things go.

9:30 AM: Had an urge to type a random email into my BlackBerry. No particular reason. Felt strange.

11:00 AM: Feelin' ok! No symptoms yet but I am getting hungry for lunch. Maybe I should pop home and pick it up? Nah... 

1:00 PM: Eating a late lunch. Kind of feel the urge to check if I have any email or messages but will fight it. Go home to pick up the 'berry? Nah... I can do this!

3:00 PM: Suprizingly not feeling any withdrawal symptoms. I thik I'm going to make it.

3:30 PM: Reached for my berry and it wasn't there. Force of habit... I'll shake it off.

4:20 PM: It's that time... and I made it :)

Although Buble undoubtedly thrashed Kavelman with his rendition of 'summer wind' at a local karaoke bar in Waterloo, Kavelman was happy with his performance. "I gave it all I had, but in the end, Michael was just too much for me."

In the coming months, Kavelman plans to challenge world competitive eating champion Takeru Kobayashi to a duel with poutine as the food of choice.
