It's been a busy year so far for BerryGlowDesigns. First, they celebrate their 1-year anniversary, then they design an awesome CrackBerry PlayBook wallpaper and matching 99xx wallpaper, and now to thank everyone for their support they've gone and updated their popular Sharp!Ice and Sharp!Pink themes to v2.0. As such, the functionality is more intuitive on the premium versions, the UI's on both the free and premium versions were given a facelift, and minor glitches were corrected. What it boils down to is that BGD has revamped, rebuilt, and redesigned these elegant and beautiful creations to make them better than before.

Today marks the 42nd annual Earth Day, which is a time for each of us to help our planet and raise awareness for environmental issues. What better way to get you in the spirit than with a lovely free theme by Infinite Appz. Since I picked up my Bold 9000 way back in 2008 the one thing that has remained constant is my love of themes. If you're looking for a well crafted BlackBerry theme that's easy on the eyes, you need to check out Stitch by Pootermobile. Appropriately named, Stitch features details throughout that make this theme look and feel as though it was hand-made just for you. The minimalistic homescreen features a weather slot and dock of 3 mini-icons that are user defined. It looks very smooth as the icons sit on ribbons, laid against leather banners. Though the wallpaper is customizable, I really like the texture Pootermobile has chosen. It's subtle and classy, and the white icons really contrast well against it.

Still looking for a theme for your Bold 9900/30? Check out Avio, the first BB7 theme from HedoneDesign. Whether you are an avid traveler or prefer the comforts of home, this theme will transport you to where you want to be. The home page is styled after a vintage brown star passport, with wispy clouds in the background. Your dock is made up of 12 scrolling icons, appearing one-by-one as you scroll from left to right. The icons themselves are unique, ranging from vintage to modern, appearing semi-transparent on the app screen until scrolled over. Custom fonts and battery/signal meters round out the theme for a polished look.

Since this theme was created without the use of Theme Builder, there are a few glitches to note. First, the app screen wallpaper is stock and doesn't change. Second, there are no icon names on the app screen. Hedone has also posted a fix for some icon issues that may occur upon installation, so make sure you read that over before installing.

Avio is available for the 9900/30 running OS 7.0.0.5xx and higher. It won't work properly on lower versions of OS 7.0. You can grab it on sale now for $4.99 in the CrackBerry store. To celebrate this release, Hedone Design is giving you a chance to download this theme for FREE! The first 30 people to purchase Avio for their 9900/30 from the CrackBerry store can use coupon code MHITG which will reduce the cost to zero. (Make sure you are purchasing from your BlackBerry and that you apply the coupon and see the discount before checking out.)
