Ebscer has provided another update for one of their most popular puzzle games, Pixelated. If you've never played it, grab the free version and give it a try. After you realize you've then missed lunch, a meeting, and a deadline, you'll understand what makes this simple puzzler so popular.

Pixelated (Free) and Pixelated Plus ($2.99) have been updated to version 3.0 in BlackBerry App World (3.01 for 99xx). This update jumps on the BBM social-integration bandwagon and improves both stability and efficiency. In addition, supported languages now include English, Spanish, Dutch, French, and Portuguese.

When I first saw this game, I didn't think it would be very entertaining. The graphics are very simple, and I just wasn't expecting a lot from it. However, once I started playing, I was hooked! Xploding Boxes by Ebscer is a strategy game. The goal is to start a chain reaction that will explode all of the boxes on the screen. Each level gives you a different number of clicks, and requires a different strategy to solve. The first 25 levels are free, while the rest of the levels can be accessed by making an in-application payment of $2.99. Xploding Boxes starts with five levels unlocked, and every time you beat a level, an additional level is unlocked. The end result of this is that if you ever get stuck, you can usually just skip ahead to the next level, because there are always a few that are unlocked. Ebscer's plan is to continue to release additional content and levels for this game. Version 1.1 of Xploding Boxes will add levels 101-120 and will be released by the end of February.

Xploding Boxes requires a minimum OS of 5.0 and supports the 8520, 8530, 8900, 9300, 9330, 9500, 9520, 9530, 9550, 9630, 9650, 9700, 9780, and 9800. Gaining access to all levels requires that you have version 2.1 or higher of BlackBerry AppWorld installed in order to make use of the in-application payment API.

Halloween is just around the corner and what fun is halloween without ghosts, goblins and of course, Jack o' lanterns? Ebscer, has created a quick and fun little application for those of you out there that partake in halloween festivities. The free application turns your BlackBerry into a virtual Jack-O-Lantern. You can change the Jack-O-Lantern’s face by sliding in different designs for the eyes, nose and mouth from the left or the right and even change the color of the design with a simple click of the screen. Eric sent us an email last night letting us know his free Pixelated game had just been updated. Additional support has been added for the  BlackBerry Bold andCurve series devices. The new version also has a few feature changes to go with it aside from the general UI improvements.  An achievement system has been added in as well as the ability to back up and synchronize game settings. Pixelated has been consistently one of the top ten free games in BlackBerry App World, be sure to check it out.
