Seeing celebrities using BlackBerry devices is nothing new really as we have seen them hundreds of times, but this instance is rather humerous. On Saturday Nokia had a big event in NYC for the launch of the Lumia 900, during which they had Nicki Minaj perform on stage. Following her performance, she tweeted out how exhausted she was and how much fun she had during the event. Being that the folks at Nokia brought her in, one would expect to see her tweeting from something along the lines of Twitter for Windows Phone, but instead she was caught tweeting from Ubersocial for BlackBerry. We don't mind one bit that's she's a BlackBerry user. Keep showing your support over there Ms. Minaj!

Katy Perry has made some poor decisions in her life (like marrying Russel Brand) but yesterday she made a pretty smart one. About two weeks ago Katy had switched her phone of choice from that of her beloved BlackBerry to a brand new iPhone 4S. Well apparently things didn't work out so well as she tweeted late last night that she had made the switch back to BlackBerry since she "just couldn't deal without my buttons".

So... I killed Siri and went back to my berry. I just couldn't deal without my buttons. #fatthumbs #sheback #phonefail 

We welcome you back with open arms Katy - you've made the right decision. I'm sure there are many in the CrackBerry Nation that have ventured out to other devices at one point or another and managed to find their way back, so no hard feelings! :-)

The BBM Lounge was in full swing last week when Xomad hosted Mark Salling's record release party in LA. Mark plays Puck on Glee and I'm pretty jealous I didn't get to attend the BlackBerry sponsored event, as I am a huge Glee fan, and obviously love my BlackBerry. The night was packed with music, food, and fun as Mark Salling performed songs from his debut album Pipe Dreams and guests used their BlackBerry smartphones to order hors d'oeuvres and themed cocktails like the BlackBerry Lemonade. Everyone knows BlackBerry batteries never last as long as you want or need them to, so if you were in attendance and your battery was running low, you could scan a barcode and a BBMe concierge would deliver you a fresh one. I need that in my daily life!

Judging by the pictures, it looks like everyone had a great time at The BBM Lounge 3.0.  And seriously, how cool to attend a party where having your BlackBerry out all night isn't frowned upon, but instead encouraged! BlackBerry Messenger is one of the best features of BlackBerry, in my opinion, and events like this truly showcase how much functionality and potential BBM has.

It looks like Jermaine Dupri is a big BlackBerry fan ... notably a Torch fan. At the start of the above video, he comments on the abilities of the Torch and Wifi music sync while talking down the iPhone. It also appears that he's much like Kevin in that he won't adopt the Torch full time until it becomes available in white (like his Bold 9700). Very cool stuff. Check out the beginning of the video to see the man in action.

Ok, I'll admit it. Ever since we posted those Kim Kardashian BlackBerry + Bikini pictures a few months back (images re-posted above and below for your viewing pleasure) I've been spending a little more time Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I mean really, it's part of my CrackBerry job duties now. Suffice to say, I was really happy to see the video segment (posted below) where Kim's BlackBerry abuse comes to a head.
