Official OS 6.0.0.448 for the Bold 9700, 9780 and Torch 9800 available from Rogers

Just in case some of you all out there missed out on the leaks, missed the update notification -- or simply just forgot, Rogers has updated the Bold 9700, 9780 and Torch 9800 all to OS 6.0.0.448. They are continuing to send out SMS messages to customers so depending on which device you have you may get one sometime soon. If you're wanting to go ahead and download the install falls you can grab them from the Rogers BlackBerry downloads site, or just simply fire up BlackBerry Desktop Manager and install from there. No matter how you decide to do it, best to get it done when you have a chance as the later OS for all those devices are leaps and bounds above the launch OS'.

When it rains, it pours. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, so not sure what's improved... if you give it a go be sure to report back in the comments.

*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). Official OS 5.0.0.442 For The BlackBerry Bold 9700 Released By TELUS

As spotted in the forums, if you are on TELUS and fanatical about running nothing but a carrier released OS you can now get your hands on OS 5.0.0.442. Previously leaked then released on other carriers this one has been around for a while now. But, not everyone likes to run non official, non carrier released OS' so enjoy.

Bold 9700 Geeez.. the leaks for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 just don't stop coming. It's hard to believe my 9700 shipped with 5.0.0.321, as with this latest leak via bbleaks we're up to OS 5.0.0.421. I haven't had a chance to give it a go yet, so be sure to check our forums for feedback on it. Also, if the download link goes down, be sure to watch the comments and OS forum for mirror download locations. Have a great weekend!
