Sprint officially released OS 6.0.0.600 for the BlackBerry Bold 9650 yesterday, and here we have two more of the same for both the Bold 9780 and Pearl 3G. Vodafone has officially released OS 6.0.0.600 for these devices so if you're a Pearl 3G or Bold 9780 user get out those USB cables and try this one out. No reports of the good or bad on these just yet, so be sure to leave a comment or hit the forums for more.

It's been a bit since we've had an official release for the Pearl 3G, so if you're on an older leaked or official OS then get to downloading. BlackBerry Pearl 3G owners, if you're looking for a new OS to check out that's higher then any leak out there for your device then you'll want to grab the latest official OS from Pelephone. OS 5.0.0.972 has gone official and is now available for download. Of course, if Pelephone is not your carrier you'll want to delete your vendor.xml file but, after that you'll be good to go. Are any of you Pearl 3G owners out there just wishing BlackBerry 6 would drop for your device just as much as the BlackBerry Bold 9700 owners? Just curious, if so comment and let us know.

In time for the 3G auctions to be completed and Indian carriers now set to roll out 3G, Research In Motion has wasted no time in announcing one of their latest devices into the area. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G will be released in India. Both keyboard (14 and 20 key) configurations will be available for customers to choose from.  No official release date or pricing was revealed at the announcement but with Research In Motions BlackBerry smartphones increasingly selling well in India it's no doubt the BlackBerry Pearl 3G will be a big seller.

Just because all the official announcements have come from Canadian carriers, certainly you weren't thinking that US carriers were going to be passing over the BlackBerry Pearl 3G were you? Engadget has just spotted both the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 and BlackBerry Pearl 9105 in the FCC approval database. No US carriers have stepped up to the plate to claim they will be exclusive or official carriers of the device. But, given that the BlackBerry Pearl 3G has been seen in every flavor but CDMA it's pretty much a lock in that AT&T and T-Mobile will be onboard. With RIM touting a May release across the board, expect to hear from the mentioned carriers soon.

Not that it's really comes as any suprise at this point, considering we've already seen the dummy units arrive in stores for Rogers customers. But, we now have all the official word flowing in. Rogers and TELUS both, have issued press releases letting potential BlackBerry Pearl 3G owners know they will indeed have the device available.

While Rogers has yet to put any pricing or launch details to work here other than stating a May release with the deivces coming in red and black, TELUS has stated in their press release that they will be carrying both black and pink versions. Either of which will be available starting at $29.99 with a 3 yr contract. We're hoping Rogers will match that price as well. That's two of Canadas big three carriers, still no word from Bell as of yet.

We've been speaking of the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 for quite some time. Now, at WES 2010 we can put the official stamp all over this thing.
