Sprint has officially releases OS 6.0.0.706 for the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 and Style 9670 today. If you're sporting a one of these devices from Sprint, it's been a while since we've had an official update, so grab this one and give it a spin. Not many reports in yet on what's new and good, so drop by the forums and let us know what you find out. As always, use caution when installing any OS on your device.

Another new OS for the Curve 3G 9300 owners today. This one comes as OS 6.0.0.546 from du. It looks to be a good one so far, so if you have the time them fire up App Loader and get it installed. When it comes to openly discussing device updates often times carriers tend to be rather slim on details. Not Telus though. Least not in this case. Telus Twitter support as you can see above has confirmed the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 will see a BlackBerry 6 update although, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 remains a mystery. Good fur Curve 3G owners. Not so good for BlackBerry Bold 9700 owners. Of course, you could always just load a leak for either device if you're impatient.

Earlier today there was some information floating around about the expected release of BlackBerry 6 on Sprint for those of you making use of a BlackBerry Bold 9650 and Curve 3G devices. The information noted that starting December 22 users would be able to download BlackBerry 6 via OTA and then via desktop on December 29. Well, it appears that rollout has begun as we've had a few folks send us tips about the rollout. As you can see in the above image, the OS being delivered is 6.0.0.415 so, be sure to check for updates folks if you have a Bold 9650 or Curve 3G and let us know in the comments if you're seeing it. Some keen eyed members of the forums spotted a nice present for Curve 3G owners. It looks like StarHub Ltd is the first carrier of the Curve 3G (9300) to drop an official version of OS 6.0. Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come for other 6-less devices, but don't get too excited just yet. If you're a lucky Curve 3G 9300 then fire up the ol' App Loader and get ready for some OS 6 lovin'. No reports on how it's running yet, so be sure to swing by the forums and let us know. Their current pre Christmas sale that is going on now has all carriers BlackBerry Curve 3G offerings reduced to $1. That is of course, with a new 2 year contract from whatever carrier it is that you decide to roll with. Either way, still a good deal if you look at the actual carrier prices. T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon offer the Curve 3G for $49.99 while AT&T offers it for $99.99 so you'll come out on top with the Best Buy deal.
