T-Mobile Invites Go Out For BlackBerry Bold 9700 Launch

Boy Genius got this information to share with us all today. Seems T-Mobile is sending out invites to their corporate customers regarding the launch of the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Interestingly enough, more then one version of the invite has been sent out various people.
As you can see above, the invites keep the device under a shorud of mystery all the while telling you exactly what it is you are being invited to come and see launched. No mystery there T-Mobile, you're giving us all what we have been impatiently waiting for and known about for months now. Bring this not so mysterious device on please and thanks and while you're at it--you forgot my invite. I'll take either or really, not fussy be it NYC on 5th or LA on November 3rd. ;)

The flyer says 11/5 for the briefing. But who knows, it may be out sooner than that! hopefully sooner.

Do people who read this information not pay attention? Release date will be some time between 10/21 and 11/11. Open your eyes and pay attention. If you want the newest bb then do your research.
I am slightly interested to see if the newest bb will give me the capabilities I am interested in. So far the Storm has fallen short (even with software updates, .230 included). Too many people have access to bbs now. Just like microbreweries and small coffee roasters who have grown RIMs quality has gone by the wayside with the increase of demand.

No need to be a douche. Sorry everybody who visits CB doesn't know EVERYTHING there is to know about everything BB. It was a simple question that required a simple answer. No flaming necessary.

To bad it's T-mobile... I been with T-mo since the Omnipoint days.. Anyone remember the parrot? lol.. I stood with them through the Vstream days and when they became T-mo.. just wasn't the same.. service went blaah and traveling sucked when you had no service lol.. Also, back then only sprint had unlimited text.. and I so could not afford 300 buck text bills any more back then lol..
skygear Oct 12, 2009 at 1:29 am
i've been with them since Aerial Communications... now thats a real throw back

Do you think that Rogers has ever thrown a BB party with give aways?? Unlikely! I'll look forward to info from our American Friends.

oxfdblue Oct 11, 2009 at 11:04 am
How about TMo showing a bit of love to more than just corporate customers?
I remember the parrot. I've been with the same number on the same system since Omnipoint came to NYC in 1996. I'd definitely take the day off work to go to this event!
Can't wait for the 9700 to finally make its debut. My 8320 is dying a slow death after two+ years.

Ok, I am curious how do you know the new BB 9700 will be $250.00, and how are you getting it with out a contract??? I cannot get any help with a new phone except after the 2 year contract is over. Thank You for your information "R"

Hi, a friend of mine works for Blackberry and told me it wil be released in the united states November 11th, 2009. It will be released in Canada around December - February time.
jcrus Oct 11, 2009 at 8:38 pm
"Wifi calling-enabled" Nice to know the 9700 will have UMA...but what will be sacrficed for it!?!?!?
skygear Oct 12, 2009 at 1:33 am
Sacrifice you say? Women, children and animals... no electronics...
jcrus Oct 12, 2009 at 9:39 am
Makes an excellent main dish. :)
daveparki Oct 12, 2009 at 8:27 am
The pic above has them all but the bold, i thought as this is the predecesor i thought only fitting it should be there
jcrus Oct 12, 2009 at 9:38 am
Remember, this is a T-Mobile event. It'd be kind of silly for them to advertise a product they never carried, even more silly that it would in turn give free marketing to their only GSM rival. :)
txredwolf Oct 12, 2009 at 2:54 pm
We can get some idea how much this phone will be on contract and without a contract??? Just curious "R"
Zoki318 Oct 20, 2009 at 1:47 pm
I think I read somewhere it will be $200 with a contract. not sure for a price without one.
babyit11 Oct 12, 2009 at 4:36 pm

griphon Oct 13, 2009 at 9:15 am

When I talked to a T-Mobile Rep about 10 days ago they said it would be released to the public sometime in December. No actual date was given.
