Swift Notes

Being BlackBerry users we are creatures of habit and I suspect that one thing we all use our BlackBerry 10 smartphone for is organizing certain parts of our lives. As well as BlackBerry's own Remember app there's also a bunch of great third party ones in BlackBerry World.

Swift Notes is one we first took a look at in detail in early 2014 and it's a real beauty - plus free! The note taking app has recently been updated with a bunch of enhancements and fixes which you can see below:

  • Fixed 'recording audio' bug

  • Fixed non-alphabetical text share bug (ASCII)

  • Enable to share the Notes title when sharing note

  • Added highlight for selected image or sound on note pages context action

  • Changed all contacts email to: swiftnotesapp@gmail.com

  • Optimized application header image

  • Fluid editing text: Enabled adding audio or image on the middle of the text

  • Optimized for BlackBerry 10.2.1

  • Optimized for BlackBerry Z3

  • Minor bug fixes

If you haven't given Swift Notes a try I'd highly recommend it. What have you got to lose?

Would be killer if it could sync with BlackBerry Remember, Onenote, Evernote or even Springpad.

love, love, love this app.

Its on my "front page" of my phone because I use and rely on it so much. Its that good.

BlackBerry Remember is the go to note storage app for me, quick, clean, organised and very efficient.

Very very very nice Note app and I can share beautifully and share to my main Note App " Noted".

What I like is it opens fast, it's simple, audio notes , and shares beautifully !

Write a note fast and your Done.....on to your next task

Been using this app from the beginning with love everything about it!

Posted using the best phone ever, the Z30!

One of my favorite apps since the beginning!! I no longer walk around the supermarket with little pieces of paper. When I put an item in my cart, I just delete it from the list.
Quick and very easy to use.
Will update now. THANKS!!

I'm partial to lazy lists, but admittedly it is only for lists if thing and not full notes.

My suggestion? Don't waste your time. I've tested many notes apps. Just tried this one but have already deleted it. First, cap of 7 notes is ridiculous. Second, it is clumsy to use: keyboard doesn't come up automatically until you touch either the title or note text field. After entering text you have to either swipe down the keyboard or touch the top left corner to dismiss it and then press the "back" menu item. Extra touches that make it IMHO clumsy. No apparent backup/restore either. There are several much better quick notes apps....
