Stitcher Launched In App World!

An interesting app popped up in BlackBerry App World the other day. Stitcher from what I can gather is a nice media/podcast player. It is currently available for AT&T and T-Mobile customers on either BlackBerry Bold or Curve devices (with a definite yes from the company that other devices will indeed be supported soon).

Features:

  • Listen - Stream the best podcasts, radio shows and other great audio to your mobile phone.
  • Customize - Stitch your favorite programs into personalized, on-demand stations.
  • Discover - Find new shows you’ll love in Stitcher’s stations, or let Stitcher recommend shows to you based on your preferences. 

All in all the application sounds great and feature rich but sadly, at this point I cannot download it and give it the normal run through for you all. If you give it a go, be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.

Just downloaded it. It was a breeze to setup. And it found PTI and started playing in about 5 seconds!

I tried the application and it requires APN setting?
Will this be charged differently by my provider (Telkomsel Indonesia)? As far As I know the data package plan only calculate the data traffic from Blackberry server only...

So tried finding it in App World, running 8900 on Tmobile...and nothing shows up when I search for "Stitcher". Anyone else had any luck?

How dumb is that... you have it for the Bold.. and the older Curves, but not the new Curve. Get with it guys...

just downloaded. Great for sports radio. I only catch 10 mins in my car on XM. This app allows me to catch up. You can also set sms or email alerts when updates for podcasts that you have in your favorites.

This is my first time trying a program like this. I'm trying to download now, but the link I was sent only brings up a blank white page and no download source. hmm...

I TRIED THIS APP A FEW TIMES ON MY BB8310, WITHOUT MUCH SUCCESS. WHAT I DID NOT LIKE, IS THAT YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE FROM THEIR CONTENT.
