T4bb and Facebook is really good nowadays. Well it's really good on the legacy os. BlackBerry10 is another story. I've read that the Facebook app on BlackBerry10 is built by BlackBerry. What happened to Facebook building it?
Raestloz Feb 13, 2013 at 12:29 pm
Either facebook build it for total facebook experience and use whatever APIs BlackBerry allows or BlackBerry build it for total BlackBerry experience and use whatever APIs facebook allows.

If you had problems with this before dont bother downloading this... not sure exactly WHAT bugs BB decided to fix but it wasnt any of the ones myself and others reported in the beta version before Xmas. Very Very annoying as I posted in the beta zone forums a couple of weeks ago asking if there was a fix and there was no reply. It still doesnt work with social feeds and still recieved a java.lang error on reboot. Seems to be an issue with devices running bbos 7.1 so avoid like the plague. Back to rroyy.com and redownload 3.2 for me :-(

Im completely screwed... I rely on social feeds with twitter for work. No 3.2 available on rroyy.com anymore, can anyone help with a link to the older version please. I desperately need it... thanks in advance.

Reached out to rroyy for help, top man got it sorted and back to 3.2 not touching Twitter for BB again on my 9900 until BB get the bugs fixed.

Downloaded the update. Seems to be working fine for me. Thanks. :-)

I updated mine and see no problems. I thought SSL was there before but if not this is a must have update to keep secure connection.

I'm in the same boat as the chaps above: had same java lang doo-dah wotsit error and broken Social Feeds integration. Some said 'I don't care for SoFe, it's old, CPU hog, etc...' But mate, I virtually do half the heavy lifting in terms of Social Feeds use in Europe! I'm on a special project for my job which involves keeping 6.4K Twitter followers updated with financial news. I NEED Social Feeds! Guess I'll bite on the update (I'm a man of faith!) If it let's me down, yep, back to vers 3.2, which works fine. But it would be nice to have the new T4B features. I'll report back.

OK, it *does* work with Social Feeds; but you still need to jump through some hoops to MAKE it work.
Go through the procedure I explained in my post about the first full release version of T4B ver 4 here: http://crackberry.com/comment/edit/1395908.
This is another black mark for BlackBerry -- the issue is STILL NOT SOLVED EVEN IN THE UPDATE.
Let's just hope this updated version is at least more stable than the last. Then at least we won't have to keep on reinstalling it.
kennyiceberry Feb 13, 2013 at 3:43 pm
Still a POS despite the update. BlackBerry, you're not covering yourself in glory with this one. Why bother providing the update? This is meant to be a stability update and to add SSL. Well, it maybe they got 1 out if 2 right [and it certainly wasn't the stability part.] Best advice remains to bin this update and return to ver 3.2.
