I love the battery life on my 9700 compared to my friends' android devices but a backup battery would be awesome for long trips.

The worst thing about portability and Blackberry torch 9800 is running out of power. Especially in the middle of something important. If you can plug into AC circuit then change your battery then no harm. Well my BB came with the power plug, and if I win I'll have everything I need.
