With new Apple, Android and Windows Phone 8 devices hitting the market this fall, and new BlackBerry 10 phones just around the corner in early 2013, there have never been so many amazing phones on the market to choose from.

Before the holiday season hits, we wanted to pause for a moment and check in to see where everybody is at. It'll only take a minute or two to fill out this State of the Mobile Nations survey, and we'll love you forever if you do. Thanks for participating!

I took that survey like a BAUS!

Now, where do I sign up for my free BB10 device!?
Oh wait, that was a dream? dang..

Survey completed.

I also would be interested in a contest for some of older BB phones - maybe the ones that Crack Team doesn't use anymore. Phones such as: Curve 8900, Torch 9800, Bold 9700, Pearl 8220, Curve 9300, Bold 9000. I have a strange fascination with slightly older BB's. It almost akin to my interest 16 bit game consoles like the SNES and Genesis rather than the newer, advanced home consoles of today. That analogy is not quite accurate as I am very interested in BB10, but the slightly older BB's still interest me.

Survey Complete - I'm assuming you'll have a chance to share the results with the nation when they are compiled. We'll maybe able to infer a better uptake of BB10 depending upon results by other users from the Nation.

Done!! For every single option, BlackBerryByChoice, sorry if I am a little biased with BlackBerry, ;)

Live Long and Prosper!

Interesting comment count on the Nation...

Quite telling in some ways... but for extremely varied reasons...

I'm glad I took the survey. I learned how I actually felt about the different OS. Oddly, I felt iOS and BlackBerry were better with almost everything, yet I now own an Android powered device and I'm very happy with it. My iPod is tops for games and Blackberry has no peer when it comes to messaging. I wish there was a phone that had it all. Maybe BB10? We will see.

* BlackBerry by choice *
Took the survey and I was back and fourth between BlackBerry and Android with the only category going to iOS being games. There are more and it's just the way it is right now. For the future who knows. BlackBerry is the best for getting chit done and multitasking, Android is great for its openness and most things, iOS is the current game leader. Sooooo excited for BB10 now. I can taste it.

Kevin more of us than ever are multi platform (I personally use Android, Blackberry, and iOS), this kind of survey needs to reflect that. Only lets us select one option for things seriously limits what you get out of it. I primarily use Android these days (but intend to pick up a BB10 device at launch). My main phone these days is an Android so I answered the thing with that in mind but if it had an option to answer things back for both our primary and secondary (if applicable) woud give you a better picture. For example my next upgrade (in a week or so is going to be the Droid DNA, but I am also getting a BB10 QWERTY device in Feb or March when they come out. No real way to reflect that in there.

And yes "survey complete"

+1. I'm sort of not liking one thing thor is saying with this though. He keeps saying bb10 is the OS for the next ten years. Yet he puts apple down by saying iOS is already 5 years old. An OS can either be good that long or it can't. Make up your mind thor!!!

I've tried to take the survey, but my current phone is Nokia N9 and it doesn't fit anywhere :) Can you add at least "Other" choice?

Yes! Proof another owner exists!

There should definitely be an 'other' option for current phones for those of us who are N9 users or Symbian/Maemo users.

Kevin and CB Crew - Survey complete!

May I make a suggestion though and have the link open a new tab vice going directly to the website. That way you don't loose traffic. Not that you need more traffic more the diehards on here like me but just sayin'
