does it support http proxying for the Windows PC? We are behind firewall and a proxy.

Wolf35Nine

Install the 30 day trial and test it out!

nievz

Nevermind. I wanted to use it personally for work but it's too expensive, min of 5 licenses.

I guess this is the reason they never added proxy support to their consumer app. Sucks!

Remote desktop for playbook works great and uses rdp protocol. This still need client/server for connection? That's what sucks about splashtop hd too

dynot

Installed the trial; never could get it to work due to corporate firewall.

Question: What's the difference between this and citrix xen desktop? Why would one choose one over the other? Any insights appreciated.

Splashtop Inc. - if you're reading this, please add proxy capability to your consumer streamer program just like what Teamviewer does. I promise to buy your software when that happens.

TripNFry

still requires software running on the server side, that's the deal-breaker... make it be able to use rdp to remotely install and remove/stop the streamer service and then we can talk....
