I agree with Crackafied! The product has great potential, but I would prefer to not have the monthly subscription obligation and won't purchase until that is dropped.

I am really tired of all these apps that let you dictate email. They just don't work that well and there are so many out there.

What I really want is the opposite - read me my email! That is something I seriously miss from my Pocket PC days. I could listen to music, then if I received a new email MS Voice would read me the sender and subject. Then without touching my phone I could decide if I need to read it or not.

This was also great while driving.

Don't bore us with the same old same old of yet another dictation clone for the BB do the opposite - that's what I want.

Also if this is like that other one Jott then I have a real big problem with it. With Jott which is what this sounds like since it's subscription based you don't get a copy of your outbound email. You only find out at the staff meeting it was a bad idea to dictate while driving as your email came accross as:
Let the gorillas roam free
instead of
The meeting has been reschedueld

there is a text-preview feature with which you can read the email before it is sent out & make corrections, if any. Just try it out

Why does everything for the BB have to be a "service"? I mean seriously... WTF? Oh, I wrote this cool new app for spellchecking all your email, but.... it's a monthly service, sucks for you. Whateva?

Well! I think Vlingo does the same thing. If just SPEAK to txt, email, find location... and it is free

the nokia e71 already does this for free

I agree $10.00 per month and $.50 per msg on top of that seems almost unbelievable. Im really surprised this isnt something that comes free with new blackberrys. I still cant belive that I pay $10.00 a month for voice to text voicemail.

I would use something like this if it worked and I am willing to try it.

but unfortunately I don't tend to speak very clearly at times .. I mean I can't really even get voice dialing to work for me ..

hrm so sad.

This service is amazing! It is surprisingly accurate and waiting time is fairly low. It allows much longer messages, and works really well with all technical and business phrases. I have run out of my free trial in 3 days and I am happy to pay for it now!
