AWS bands are gay. You can't use any of the good phones that the major carriers have like my current Torch 9810. Whatever ill pass..

Even though most Blackberries would only get 2G, it's still nice/refreshing to see a prepaid Blackberry option here in the U.S.

I like it. A place for all those legacy BB's to get back into service, help devs make more money (more users=more apps downloaded=more $=more apps developed). Good move on RIM's part to partner up.

I have a couple older BBs in the drawer that will work, great to pass on to kids, family members, small biz employees, etc.

"Good enough" for lots of folks!

simple mobile uses t-mobile's network. you get the same 3g/4g coverage after you switch unless you're with at&t then you are limited to 2g

great service, I live in brooklyn and have a 9900 w/ simplemobile under the 4g network, works great, I recommend it.
i used to have service w/ tmobile on prepaid on a 9780 but used to have it on 2g only. it was good enough for me cause i wanted to save battery. now that i bought this new device i wanted to use it in full mode and battery life is good, all day under 4g and i use it a lot. the secret is to lower the screen backlight, that does a big difference and dont need it over 30%, the screen is very bright.

@menajemh , are you having problems with bbm ? in the past couple of days my bbm has been slow , its taking a little bit longer than usual to get the little ''d'' on the message.. so i was thinkin maybe i should change to tmobile prepaid service ..

Why do you think Simple Mobile is charging $50 -60 to activate a Black berry and it is only $40.00 for an unlimited plan for a I-Phone?
