SideWinder Now Available For Storm!

In my constant struggle to find themes that are nice and functional for my Storm, I was surprised to find out that Jason Calhoun has updated his Sidewinder theme to be compatible. In my haste I grabbed the OTA download, installed it and was happy to discover Sidewinder was one of those themes that was not too "heavy" to function as it should. If you have Sidewinder for any other device then you know it's a great looking theme, and if you don't have it now is a perfect time to pick it up.

Jason previously dropped the price of all his themes in the CrackBerry App Store ( on your device only) and has decided to continue with that promotion. So here's your chance again... Pay $6 for one wicked theme and then email Jason with the second theme you want and get the it for free!! This applies to all devices, NOT just the Storm themes folks!

(** Storm users please note there are only 2 themes available -- Sidewinder and Streamline -- at present moment, but Jason will honor requests later if you wish to wait for more themes to be available **

Yes it does, but it's optional...if you put the calandar on the main screen ie: in the first 6 icons it will show the today functions.

first of all..nice theme..truely.
Must have taken a long time.

but for the person who posted this on the first page can you struggle to find good functional themes?
I may be biased of my two themes, but they're clean and functional... and better than the two you've posted on the main page.

AGAIN, nothing taking away from this's SICK!

Your question would cause me to reference an example of a theme that is not functional on the Storm and I don't wanna ruffle any feathers by calling any one out.

I'm positive their are others who would agree with me that some themes are just too heavy and too much for the Storm to handle in turn they do not function as well as they could if they were say, less graphic intense.

I really like this theme, but I can't figure out how to determine the order of the app buttons on the home screen. They don't correspond with the order on the full app screen when I try to organize them. Help?

There are quite a few bugs in this theme for the 8900. Furthermore, Jason doesn't respond to emails about fixing it. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

I agree with Bla1ze that functional themes are hard to find, most slow the Storm down to a crawl.

However, there are much better options out there that are free. 6 beans for this theme is way too much.

It's a little too pricey for my tastes. I like it, but I think it's just another theme. I think a theme can pop without being too heavy.

I really liked the look of this theme, but I have a pearl, so I wanted to see what other Themes he carries, but the link posted doesnt work and even searching his name doesnt bring up results... any help? :S

The link's just not working for due to the fact you are looking for Pearl themes, to which their are none.

That's a great deal. Thanks for letting everyone know :) I'm always looking for new ways to personalize my devices.

I am not buying anymore Storm themes for a while. I bought the iVisat2 and I am more than disappointed.

I am going to wait to buy themes, until we get a stable. good "Official" OS to work with. Then the builders will have more of a solid platform to build into.
