Have you ever tried to share a video from your BlackBerry 10 device only to get the message pop up on-screen that the video is too large as the maximum file size is 16MB? It's rather frustrating to say the least. The good news is that there is now a simple work-around thanks to developers S4BB.
Viss - Video Shrink and Share does just what the name suggests. I initially thought I'd record a quick video of the app in action, but it's so easy to use it would make for the most boring video demo ever!
It works like this:
Open up ViSS.
Select the video you wish to shrink.
Once done, simply share via BBM or Whatsapp.
You'll be pleased to hear that it won't cost a penny to try out ViSS. The app is free to download and this version will allow you to shrink videos that are up to 30 seconds long. If that's not enough you can grab the Pro version via an in-app purchase which will give you no limitations at all.
The shrinking process isn't fast and the larger the file, the longer it takes, so you'll need to be patient, but the results are worth it. Nice job S4BB!
