Near the end of May, we had a look at one of the shortcut applications available for the BlackBerry smartphone - ShortcutMe. Amongst its many features, the application allows you to add multiple shortcuts to one or both of your convenience keys. You can find ShortcutMe at the CrackBerry App Store. Sam from Fonware Ltd let me know that they've added a slew of requested features in recent updates. Here is a sample of the additions now available since our initial review:

This software looks great! It looks like it is simple to understand and use, and a small learning curve is nothing to dismiss lightly! I also like the colors....it makes it easier to separate each category. I've got bad eyesight and the colors are a definite asset! Whoever developed this software was thinking on his/her toes! sounds like a good app. i use a lot of the default shortcuts but there isnt a way to program shortcuts for 3rd party apps.

Sweet application! I was thinking this week about how I wish I could assign shortcut keys to non BB apps (especially Facebook), and I had no idea this even existed. Thanks for the 411!
