SearchIt is a brand new application by ShaoSoft, maker of such popular apps as Leave It On and Wallpaper Changer. With a click of its icon you can quickly and easily select and search a variety of popular websites such as Google, YouTube, eBay, Dictionary, Wikipedia, IMDB, and even our CrackBerry Forums. The application is very customizable, letting you pick and choose which websites you want in your drop down menu. You can also add your own custom URL's ensuring your searching needs will be met. In my opinion, SearchIt is a must have app for those who are constantly browsing the web on their BlackBerry and want to make that experience a little quicker/easier. The application is especially useful to those of you that are on Verizon, and now only have Bing as a search engine in your BlackBerry's browser. It is on sale at the CrackBerry App Store for $1.99 (regular price $2.99) untill December 27th and is compatible with all devices running OS 4.2 and up. This application also has a free 3 day trial.

Contest: We have 100 free copies of SearchIt to give away. Just leave a comment on this post to enter. Contest ends this Sunday at Midnight PST. Please only leave one comment - multiple entries won't count.

but I'd like a wider search box so that I can see more of my query. So far that's my only complaint.

I really appreciate it now that VZ had crippled the BB browser search box.

This application looks great and would be nice to have the ability to search through google again since bing is my only option currently (thanks Verizon!)

This app sounds awesome. Right now when I do a search, I have to weed through all the fluff to get to the meat of the matter. When I need accurate info, I search 5-8 different sources. To have it all in one search has me very interested.

for when the BIS outage is over, that is. What a cool idea. Kinda makes me think, "why didn't I think of that?!?!"

Thanks for the generosity. Hope to win, but will definitely be checking it out when this dumb outage is over with. Thanks for another great contribution to the BB (and CB!) community.

This would be a wonderful Christmas present.
Yes please:) ill gladly accept because is the best website ever.

Hahahaha!! I made a funny in the subject line. On a serious note, I would love this app. It would save me a lot of time. Thanks, happy Kwanzaa CRACKAS.

I would like to use this cause I hate bing and Verizon is not giving us the option to use google or other options. I need this !!!

A Twitter contact of mine is raving about this app for weeks now. I like to test it too.

Happy Holidays!

I am a new crackberry user and I love the site. I love my tour and have been searching for apps and themes to load it with. AWESOME SITE! I use google quite often and think this app would be great for me! Thanks!

Now THIS is a great idea, and certainly worth looking at... Seeing as Research in Motion (RIM) don't natively offer the ability to add custom search engines to their browsers, it sure would be nice to win this, too.

Shao has always been a great developer. Hope I finally win something and ruin my perfect streak of not wining anything ever lol.

I would like to check this out since good old verizon has limited options in our native browsers. For now I just have google bookmarked on my home screen.

This bing thing isnt working for me. Please pick me cause i need to go back to my wiki and google!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, I love how easy it is to use this app, searching a variety of different sites including social networking, news, CB forums... Wow! You can even search by Bing, for all you Verizon users that love it so much! Haha, just kidding! I am with Verizon, I still get to use Google, but SearchIt goes way beyond Google. The variety of sites that it gives you, how it lets you start a search without opening your browser first, the very simple user interface - you change your search engine by simply clicking the menu key, it does it automatically - yeah this app rocks!

yea. this is a useful app for me to search anything at internet on my bb bold. please pick me for a free copy.. thanks crackberry. :D
