The BlackBerry Desktop Media Manager now allows users to manage songs, videos and pictures. It is also based on Roxio Easy Media Creator, so it can help you get the most out of your media files.

Transferring files from your computer to your BlackBerry is simple – simply drag and drop, whether it's a video, picture or song. You can save directly to your Berry, or put the media files on the smartphone's memory card. The media manager will also automatically offer to convert your videos for optimal playback on your BlackBerry smartphone.

Listening is to a CD on your Berry is now easy. With the BlackBerry Desktop Media Manager, you can rip tracks from an audio CD, and then transfer the music files to your smartphone. Copy the entire CD, or create your own music mix with a customized playlist.

Built-in photo editing tools make it easy to crop, remove redeye and change the contrast and color saturation of photos. Use it to modify photos you took with your BlackBerry smartphone's camera*, or some you took with a digital camera.

There are also lots of advanced features.You can add tags to your music so you can easily sort songs by artist, title, album, genre, etc. on your PC and when loaded onto your BlackBerry.

Set up "watched folders" so that whenever new media content is placed in these folders, BlackBerry Desktop Media Manager will also automatically add it to your media library.

I tried using the blackberry desktop manager to transfer my pics from my phone to the computer but I keep getting an error about my Roxio media play terminating and it says something about microsoft visual c. Can anyone help me with this?
