Like platform gaming? You'll want to check out Roller for BlackBerry 10

If you own a BlackBerry Z30 or Z10 and like a slice of platform gaming can we point you in the direction of Roller for BlackBerry 10. With 40 levels spread over 6 worlds have you got the skills and patience to get to the end?

You control the little pink round chap in the above photo. He rolls - like the game suggest. Over on the left of the display are your two movement controls to guide him left and right and with your right thumb you can tap on the screen to make him jump.

Collecting coins along the way will ensure that you progress to the next level but there are a bunch of hazards that you will need to avoid. Falling between platforms at the base of the screen won't do you any favors and there are a selection of 'bad guys' to avoid which come in a variety of forms.

In addition to just jumping from the standard platform to platform, you'll also come across ones that fall from beneath you as well as some that act like a seesaw - just to make things a little more interesting.

There will also be some objects you'll need to move but as you can see from the image above you'll be told when you have to do something new for the first time.

Roller's graphics are pretty sweet and gameplay is smooth with a nice relaxing backing track. It may not be a frenzied or famous as the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog but for killing some time on your BlackBerry it's a pretty decent offering.

Roller is priced at £0.75/$0.99 and at the time of release is only supported by all touch BlackBerry 10 devices.

Wow isn't he so clever. No one EVER would have thought of using wordplay and the word first in the post.

as long as I state my thoughts on the topic, I can say whatever I want. you just don't get that "first" is just a nice reminder of how that whole internet-forum-blog stuff began, and it is nice to let that spirit live for the pure sake of reminiscence. as long as we stay on topic and use it as that little gimmick in our posts, its YOU who is not contributing to the issue of the post. please keep that in mind.

Why do people get so pissed off about the 'first' thing lol... its not that much of an issue... i say keep calm and stfu.. :)

I searched for it on BlackBerry World, it's not available. I clicked on the above download link, once BlackBerry World opened up, it says unavailable for this device. I'm using Z10 STL100-1,
