Rogers Officially Launches BlackBerry Curve 8520

Time for an official announcement from RIM and Rogers finally. The press release is now out regarding the availability of the BlackBerry Curve 8520 on Rogers. As expected, most stores should now have their stock available to sell to those who have been waiting. From the press release:
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Beginning today, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is available in black from Rogers from $99.99 with activation on any combination of a 3 year voice and data plan with minimum combined monthly service fee of $45 per month from Rogers. Some conditions apply. The BlackBerry Curve 8250 will be available in violet from Rogers in the coming weeks.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a great device over all. Sure it is not as feature packed as other BlackBerry Smartphones available, but it is still worthy of the BlackBerry name.

The Source has the Bold for $99 on a 3 year contract. The 8520 should be free with a 3 year contract as it is an entry level BB.

Another Edge phone...If it were 3G people could get pumped. Has a Trackpad; which is very nice!
