Rogers Discontinues White BlackBerry 8100 Pearl

RIM BlackBerry 8100 Pearl DiscontinuedThanks to a faithful CrackBerry tipster for sending this in...

It looks like Rogers is beginning to clear out its inventory to make room for the Pearl 2, which by today's leaked slides sounds like it should be here in the early fall.

The proof? Notification today by Rogers to its dealers that the White BlackBerry Pearl 8100 has been discontinued, effective immediately.

The Black and Red BlackBerry 8100 Pearl are still available for order to Roger's dealers.

I think at this point, if you're really considering getting a BlackBerry with a SureType keyboard, it's probably worth waiting for the new BlackBerry Pearl. Though I'm sure there will be a lot of great deals on the 8100 as they get blown out the door in the weeks ahead!
