The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is slowly making it's way through Canadian carriers. If you're a Rogers customer you can now head on over to the Rogers website and place your order for the BlackBerry Bold 9780. One thing to note though is that Rogers doesn't seem to be feeling any pressure as of yet from TELUS regarding their pricing. The TELUS version will only set you back $99 while the Rogers version will cost you $149.99 both on 3-year contracts. However, if contracts aren't your thing both carriers have the device available for $499 sans contract.

If you go to the 9700 page and change the 9700 in the url to 9780 it will bring you to the page

WOW! I stand corrected.

What a way to get to it though. I guess they want to clear their 9700 out first.

Only problem is it doesnt show up on the list of available phones when you try and upgrade your hardware through your rogers acount. Mine only showed the 9700 available...

Its probably Rogers way of getting people to upgrade to get rid of excess Bold 9700 stock cause I am currently using 9700 and upgrade shows the 9700
