Not that it's really comes as any suprise at this point, considering we've already seen the dummy units arrive in stores for Rogers customers. But, we now have all the official word flowing in. Rogers and TELUS both, have issued press releases letting potential BlackBerry Pearl 3G owners know they will indeed have the device available.

While Rogers has yet to put any pricing or launch details to work here other than stating a May release with the deivces coming in red and black, TELUS has stated in their press release that they will be carrying both black and pink versions. Either of which will be available starting at $29.99 with a 3 yr contract. We're hoping Rogers will match that price as well. That's two of Canadas big three carriers, still no word from Bell as of yet.

Quite easy to type on. After using it, some may actually prefer it.

For what it's worth, I can 100% confirm that Bell will be carrying the new Pearl. Expect them to follow suit with an announcement soon.

I might go for this, depending on the price for a two-year (and whether I have any upgrade offers). I've been using a Storm 9530, and I am generally happy with it, but been looking at both the Bold 9700 and 9650. Now this is looking like the most cost-effective upgrade.
